Wondering why ex-RIM? Because from now on, the company has outgrown its name and becomes officially known as BlackBerry. With a name change and a great platform under their arms, BlackBerry attempt to make his triumphant return to the mobile phone market.

BlackBerry 10 is a fresh platform, a complete reprint of the old and improved BlackBerry OS complemented with some innovative features and promising. Besides the announcement of the operating system, also announced the first phones to run it, that will be the BlackBerry BlackBerry Z10 and Q10. The first is fully touch, while the second is a hybrid between a BlackBerry smartphone and traditional touch. The Z10 will go on sale from early February in different parts of the world, while Q10 is expected to do a few weeks later.

An application returns to life dinosaurs

dinosaurs may have been extinct for more than 65 million years, but a Canadian museum uses a new application to restore life.
With the Ultimate ROM application called Dinosaurs, the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, uses augmented reality, virtual vision of the real world which can be extended with graphics or other content.
When visitors point their smartphones to indicators throughout the museum, dinosaurs come to life on the application. IPads displayed in the museum and aimed to show the skeletons of creatures with more realism, with meat.
"We can see how they would look with skin when they were alive and how they have moved and behaved," said Tracy Ruddell, vice president of marketing assistant museum, where technology is on display as part of the show "Last Dinosaur".
"As a museum all that matters are real-world objects," said Ruddell. "But being able to give life to prehistoric dinosaurs was something really amazing."
Worldwide, museums and art galleries have increasingly incorporated their technology exposures, which can be accessed through mobile applications.
"Augmented reality allows us to do things with goals that would never see in the physical world because, of course, we have to preserve specimens," said Ruddell. "It also enables us to provide educational information, and stories about these objects that are traditionally difficult to do."
After years of being relegated to the realm of science fiction, augmented reality is finally entering mainstream. ABI Research expects the industry to reach the 3,000 dollars in profits in 2016, from 29 million in 2010.

Windows Server 2012 will be released in September

Microsoft has confirmed that its management system Windows Server 2012 will be released in September. The company explained that manufacturers receive before the RTM (Release to Manufacturing) that can integrate Windows Server 2012 in their teams ahead of its release.
Toronto is still the home of an important meeting with some of Microsoft's partners and collaborators. The company has been informing its 'partner' on their future plans and timetable for their activities. In that event, the company announced that its highly anticipated Windows 8 arrive in October, confirming speculation about the system.
In addition to Windows 8, another of the products have remained to date of release was Windows Server 2012, server management solution company. As was the case with Windows 8, had speculated on the month to be launched and Microsoft wanted to dispel the mystery surrounding it in Toronto.
The company has confirmed that Windows Server 2012 will be available to customers in September, a month before Windows 8. Thus, customers can acquire the company's solution or update their servers systems before it is on the market the new version of PC operating system from Redmond.
In addition to announcing the availability date of Windows Server 2012, Microsoft has anticipated that manufacturers will release to manufacturing version of the system in the first week of August. This is a version that allows the system to include equipment that will be drawn later to market with Windows Server 2012.
Microsoft also announced an RTM version of Windows 8 for the week of August, so the company's intention is to use the summer for manufacturers to bring about its range of equipment ahead of September and October.
