A few hours after placing the Firefox download link 16 at its website, the company Mozilla quickly removed it. What was the reason for doing this? The new version of the browser has a security level problem. Well, several actually, but it seems that there is one that stands out among the rest.
As was explained, the vulnerability could cause malicious content sites have access to the list of sites the user has visited as well as could be done with URL parameters. Mozilla also said that currently there are no indications that this vulnerability has been exploited.
For now, the company recommends do is get rid of Firefox and install 16 15.0.1 version which can be downloaded from the official website.
