The HP Envy 6-1110us 15.6-inch Sleekbook (Black) is not just another ultra-light ultra-fast laptop, what one has Bluetooth! With this sleekbook, I can connect wirelessly, not only through 802.111b/g/n 1x1 WLAN but also via Bluetooth! So can wirelessly listen to my music through headphones bluetooth and access the laptop via bluetooth keyboard and mouse. I can also use Bluetooth to sync my smart phone supports Bluetooth with my 6 1110us Sleekbook Envy! This is useful for when I'm not around wifi, I can still connect my smartphone with this sleekbook as it is compatible with Bluetooth. I can sync and print wirelessly from up to 30 feet away from the Bluetooth sleekbook.
The HP Envy 6-1110us 15.6-inch Sleekbook (Black) has the same brushed aluminum finish which I prefer black and midnight HP offers really! In addition, this sleekbook has a red soft-touch base that is easy to grip, does not scratch so easily and looks super cool, and the combo red / black reminds me of a ferrari for some reason. This not only look awesome sleekbook, is sensual to the touch. Looks like the bottom of my laptop being scratched before the top makes, so this new soft-touch base is a great advantage for laptop looking impressive for a longer period of time. I expected to feel more smooth and elastic reading of the description of what it actually does in person. It feels like when I play only solid metal base and not until it touches the base and the top I can tell you that the grippier softer texture of the bottom. Copper seems not rubber or soft. Red goes up on the side where the ports and sockets are, but not within the entire keyboard or screen. It's a very cool black with ruby red combo and every day seems to get a little more love.
The LED-backlit HD BrightView as impressive. I love the pictures and videos on how they look brighter and sharper than even my HDTV and it is very good and every comment that my cable provider HDTV makes your food look the best I've seen!

The HP Envy 6-1110us 15.6-inch Sleekbook (Black) is super fast with its next generation AMD Quad-Core 1.6 GHz AB-4555M accelerated processor speeds up to 2.4 GHz, 4 MB L2 cache, 4GB DDR SDRAM (1DIMM) (up to 16GB supported). The touchpad also feels great to the touch and use and includes normal mouse movements as double tap, go 2finger, pinch to zoom or stretch, magnetic tip cap to see commands applications, slide the edge to show the charms ( search, share, start, devices and settings) and drag the left edge to switch between open applications. You can quickly return to the home screen, press the Windows logo key on your keyboard.
Windows 8 just came out so it's new to me and, of course, there is a learning curve, but so far I like it. I like that it is linked to my Microsoft account which means that every time you log on to a Windows 8, my settings and custom settings are with me and apply. Because Microsoft accounts are related to storage SkyDrive, Office 2013 is backed up to the cloud automatically. Windows Media Center not included free in Windows 8, but now the January 31, 2013, you may request a free product key it in the Microsoft Windows website.
Some people complain about the "missing DVD drive," as we have come to think of them as essential standard, but I think that soon we will see them as obsolete because most current software and media are downloadable / loadable to media or social clouds, flash drives are faster and more portable and more secure, and technology is moving towards synchronization via cable or wirelessly via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth between devices, including those designed specifically for the storage media. When I speak of a floppy disk or a floppy drive, people 20 years gives me blank stares that have no idea what I'm talking about and ask "what's that?" Surely, someday I will have the same questions when I mention the optical / dvd drive, but how soon / long until that day? Second, on those rare occasions sometimes when a DVD is needed, one could easily use an external DVD drive when necessary or connect via USB cable to a PC or laptop that has a DVD drive. The advantage of not having a DVD drive is a slim laptop lighter. I think I'd rather have a lighter laptop is thin command without the DVD.

All of these names are just marketing different manufacturers trying to cut his own niche. Everyone knows technology devices / equipment keep getting thinner, lighter, faster, cheaper and brighter, does that justify a new name other than the laptop or laptop? I think not.
