Over the years we have seen various devices that are able to project a keyboard on a surface by a laser light, so that we can use it like a real keyboard. Until recently, this was the greatest achievement when it comes to write using a keyboard nonexistent, but now, Fujitsu has decided to take things to another level. This week at the MWC 2013, the company introduced a prototype tablet that allows us to write using a keyboard that does not exist and without the need to project one. We are talking about something like what you see in the picture above, where the person wrote in tablet simply using imaginary keyboard would be located right under your fingers.
This new system works by using a software and the device's front camera. Fujitsu has created a simple system in which users can type easily using a smooth surface, which will be recognized by the tablet as a keyboard in which you 're writing.
Obviously that lighting plays an important role in this, as well as ambient light, which requires an optimal amount for everything to work properly.
Personally, I think this system would be a little difficult to use, at least initially, that surely would fail a lot at the time of writing.
What do you think about this technology ? Do you think the idea of Fujitsu is good?
