Qualcomm has revealed details StreamBoost involving a new technology developed by the networking company and one of its subsidiaries, Atheros. This is an administration system bandwidth for WiFi routers and the like.
StreamBoost allows us to manage, automatically, the bandwidth allocated to devices connected to a network and is able to give priority to certain applications, in which case the game online and the live streaming videos would be between the top of the priority list.
As time goes, the system will be enhanced to better fulfill its task. Qualcomm will demonstrate StreamBoost next week during CES 2013 to be held in Las Vegas.
