HTC is working on a maps app

One of the reasons that leads people to choose smartphones like the Nokia Lumia 920 and others, is due to a couple of great maps and navigation applications that are available only on phones of the famous Finnish manufacturer. We are talking about Nokia Maps and Nokia Drive, of course. As you also know, Nokia is today considered the leading seller of Windows Phone smartphones, and therefore their applications are the rulers navigations in this market. But we must not forget that HTC has also released several Windows Phone smartphones in the past, and seems well now aims to compete with Nokia in this area as it would be preparing its own mapping and navigation.
Recall that last year HTC launched the app you see above, HTC Locations, which is not available for Windows Phone 8, so it is quite likely that the idea of the company is to take your software to the latest version of the operating system mobile Microsoft .
We do not know either if this application is exclusive for WP or also be coming to the Android platform, but for sure soon we will learn more.

Nokia could be working on a new high-end smartphone

At the Nokia Lumia 920 is doing more than fine in the U.S. market and is among the biggest sellers moving behind another as the Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S III. Recently a tweet by Tom Warren from Microsoft suggests that Nokia would launch a high-end smartphone for Verizon exclusive. Many assume that this tweet refers to the Lumia 920, which is not currently available via Verizon, but there may be something beyond all this.

While it is possible that the above model reaches another market sector, it is also possible and a little more likely that Warren was referring to a new model of high-end smartphone and Nokia modern technology is developing and of course still has not entered the market, but I would and would apparently exclusive to Verizon.

Nothing is confirmed yet, so this is mostly just guesses, but they are highly likely to end up being true. We hope to have some official details soon, which would not bad in these cases.

Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 have already sold 2.5 million units

Yahoo! China is closely watching sales of the new Nokia Lumia 920 and also those of his younger brother, the Nokia Lumia 820. It seems that both smartphones, including direct sales and pre-ordered units, and have gone on to sell 2.5 million units around the globe, which is almost a record for a phone with Windows Phone 8 that has been released for very short time.
Note that recently, when it was released in China and Hong Kong, China Amazon guys ran out units in a matter of minutes, which may reflect two things: there were few units for sale or had a tremendous demand, and personally I think that is not for lack of units sold, but because it is a phone in great demand by the public.

Lumia 920, the new smartphone Nokia Windows 8

Nokia has recently unveiled its latest smartphone , the new Lumia 920, one of the first smartphones with operating system Windows 8. If you like to have a Lumia 900 in your hands, then you will like this new version even more.
