A mother in Pennsylvania was charged with trespassing on school computers for their children to improve their calificaciones.La woman allegedly improperly could change the assessment because he used passwords he obtained while working for the school district.
Police investigators say that Catherine used the password Venusto
superintendent of Northwestern Lehigh School District to change the
ratings. She was charged Wednesday with five felony counts, but was released on bail.
Authorities say Venusto changed a failing grade in 2010 of his daughter with a note of absence for medical reasons. In that year she was still secretary for the district. The woman, of New Tripoli, was also accused of manipulating a score of his son, from 98% to 99% in February.
State police said admitted Venusto change assessments, but that she thought her actions, while unethical, were not illegal.
