The Xbox One is technically 40 times more powerful than Xbox 360

Have you ever thought that both Microsoft has improved its new Xbox compared to the classic 360 model? Well quite a lot actually. In fact, if we talk technically, is that the Xbox One is up to 40 times more powerful than the Xbox 360, which undoubtedly is a lot. Microsoft said it would only be 10 times more powerful at the launch last week, so you'd better clarify the situation somewhat.
Jeff Henshaw, one of the Xbox group manager, said that the new console will use the cloud to offer more power than it is capable of providing internal specifications using only. When connected to the cloud, the Xbox One will have the CPU performance level and the amount of memory 3 consoles, so it would be like having four instead of just one. The idea is that developers take this into account when creating new games in order to get all the juice to the Xbox One and deliver improved gaming experience possible to the user.
Adam Pollington Xbox Australia has also confirmed it himself in a recent interview, so that we can take it as a story 100% true.
Now we just need to wait until the famous console is launched in order to make use of it and test all abilities.

The Nokia Lumia 928 has been officially

http://i.imgur.com/YFDbSCS.jpg

It seems that the Nokia Lumia 928 has been formally submitted earlier than expected. In recent days we have already spoken about this smartphone and its technology on a couple of occasions: first I commented that the Lumia 928 had been shown to the world through the Nokia website, and the next day we saw a demonstration of his great PureView camera.
The Lumia 928 has been announced before the main launch event to be held in London on Tuesday May 14. Nokia has decided to give more promotion to the new phone (and most of all to the camera) with the presentation of a new video you can see the bottom.
For those wondering about the specs, the Nokia Lumia 928 has a 4.5-inch OLED screen with HD resolution of 1280 × 768 pixels and pixel density is 334 per inch, which is above average. Inside, the hardware we found is a Qualcomm dual-core processor that runs at 1.5GHz and is accompanied by 1GB of RAM. The new Lumia comes with 32GB of internal memory and also have 7GB of space on SkyDrive, courtesy of Microsoft, as the phone runs on Windows Phone 8. The phone battery is 2000mAh and has three microphones for audio recordings, although we assume that for calls using one.
The front camera has a 1.2 megapixel sensor and is capable of recording videos in HD quality (720p), while the main camera is a great PureView 8.7 megapixel Carl Zeiss lens and Xenon flash.

Microsoft has sold 100 million licenses of Windows 8

 http://i.imgur.com/TDXWoX7.jpg

We know that the super-update known as Windows Blue is expected this year, although we have no exact date for its release. Blue is not the only good news that Microsoft has for Windows users, there's more. It seems that Windows 8 is being more successful than expected, as the giant software and announced that they sold over 100 million licenses for the operating system, which as you know was released about six months ago or so.
"Windows 8 is a big change and ambitious," said Tami Reller, the CMO of Microsoft through the Windows Blog . "We know that changes take time, we feel good about the progress seen since the launch" was also added.
This achievement is extremely important to Microsoft. Windows 8 is having a good time and current sales are catching up to those that had Windows 7 on the same time.
Recall that in January it was announced that the number of licenses sold was 60 million, so in these 4 months have sold about 40 million more licenses, which is pretty good.
Tell us: do you think W8 will become as popular as its predecessors?

Infinity could be the name of the new Xbox

http://i.imgur.com/ARFESho.jpg

We have enough time talking about the new Xbox and its great rival, the Sony PS4. While the latter already has a name, the first does not, just be released on May 21, but remember that it always ends up leaking information. We have seen many rumors that give different names to the Xbox: Fusion, Infinite, Infinity and others. Now an English site which claims related sources console development, has confirmed that it will be called Xbox Infinity.
Internally, that is, within Microsoft, the project is known as Durango. Initially it was believed that this would be called Xbox Xbox 720, but it seems that in the end things will not be so.
Microsoft has not yet said anything about the "Xbox Infinity", but frankly we should not expect to do it anyway because the name will be known in two weeks. Remember also that the console will not be seen this May 21, but at E3 2013 to be held in June.
Do you like the name for the new Xbox Infinity? What do you think would be the perfect name?

The final farewell to Hotmail

http://i.imgur.com/hQt0dRO.jpg

That's right, today officially from Hotmail longer exists as a service. From now on your name is Outlook.
On Thursday, Microsoft ended the migration of users of Hotmail accounts to their new service. Now the new platform of e-mail accounts of the company has over 400 million users.
What the giant software aim of this change is that the user has a better experience with the service, so that the comments and suggestions received in recent months were taken into account to achieve an improvement in service. Dick Craddock, one of the leading makers of Outlook, said they plan to make the new email platform the best in the world and achieve more than 1000 million users, but obviously this is a very long term goal.
In February, the number of accounts in Outlook was 60 million why Hotmail was still in use, and that there were about 350 million accounts still active.
Tell us: Have you tried the Outlook mail service?

A 7.5-inch Surface could be launched next year

http://i.imgur.com/ca2tdL1.jpg

One analyst recently said that Microsoft has established 7.5 inches as the size for the new screen that incorporates the second generation of tablets Surface, which of course would go on sale between January and March of next year. The display would have a resolution of 1400 × 1050 pixels, which would give it a pixel density of 233 per inch. This would make the future Living in one of the tablets within the range of 7 inch best resolution on the market.
Microsoft did not sell the units expected from the Original Surface when it launched, but it seems that this time will be produced million units since the beginning, so that the company is very optimistic about his new tablet .
Recall that 7-inch tablets like the Nexus 7, iPad Mini and others have proved extremely popular with consumers, therefore no chances of a Surface of this size is too. A level specifications still no data, but remember that we have many months to go before the launch of this device.
What do you think about it? Do you think Microsoft could succeed with a new 7.5-inch tablet or things did not go so well?

Microsoft IllumiRoom not be ready before the launch of the new Xbox

http://i.imgur.com/hKqZD3r.jpg

Microsoft presented a conceptual shows IllumiRoom at CES 2013 which took place in January. What makes this system is to use a projector combined with the popular Kinect sensor to give users a gaming experience never seen before. IllumiRoom extends the game beyond the screen and scan around the room through the Kinect to create a map digital around us. Several images and things are projected around the room thanks to the projector. An example: if during the game you go through a level at which it is snowing, IllumiRoom be projected snow fall throughout the room.

Yesterday they said the technology could be ready IllumiRoom when the new Xbox is released (on end of year), but it seems this will not. Brett Jones and Hrvoje Benko, two researchers from Microsoft, have said that the product is not yet ready, but at least have made it work correctly in some tests. They said maybe it could be presented in July, but it is likely that the final release will not take place this year.
We have a video for you take a look at IllumiRoom:

Google Operating Systems and Microsoft will run on new devices Intel

http://i.imgur.com/jM2JldW.jpg

As reported, Intel is working on several new devices such as tablets and laptops. To our knowledge, these new gadgets will be of low cost and run both operating systems Google as Microsoft. Paul Otellini, CEO of Intel, has said previously that some devices may have a greatly reduced price, down to $ $ 200 even.
Obviously that something so cheap is very unlikely to be run with Windows 8, but instead are expected to run with a Google operating system, perhaps a modified version of Chrome OS.Currently, any tablet or notebook using Windows 8 has a price of not less than $ 600, so we're not entirely sure what Intel's plans to lower the cost of your new creations.
Some analysts talk about Windows 8 tablets 7 inch would use an Intel Atom processor and cost about $ 300 dollars, but many question the performance of them in front of the most popular models on the market (and certainly are cheaper) such as Nexus 7 or 7-inch Kindle Fire.
In the rare case that a Windows 8 to be launched at a price of $ 200, we are confident that the gains would be extremely small.
What do you think?

Microsoft will release a 7-inch Surface this year

http://i.imgur.com/wiScAW1.jpg

The 7-inch tablets are very successful. By looking at the sales of devices like the iPad Mini, the Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire, and we can realize this. Even on one occasion we talked about how sales of iPad Mini would end the 10-inch iPad. Today, more and more manufacturers that are committed to this type of product, and it seems that this year another company to come into this market is Microsoft .
Surely recall that two weeks ago we mentioned that the requirements to run Windows 8 on tablets had decreased, and need at least a lower resolution that had opened the doors for manufacturers to create Windows 7-inch tablets. It seems that Microsoft is already working on a model of the Surface will measure indeed 7 inches, but in addition to this would be related in some way to the Xbox brand.
According to the Wall Street Journal, this was not part of the original plans of Microsoft, but due to the high demand for small tablets, the software giant has decided to opt for a smaller Surface.
Consider that the 10-inch Surface has had good sales since it was released, so we're not entirely sure how Microsoft will fare with this new project.

Windows Blue would be released as Windows 8.1

http://i.imgur.com/0HvOw74.jpg

Will this be the farewell to the famous Service Pack? The annual conference of Microsoft Development, called Build, will take place in June. Of course, Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 will have a highly important role during and, as you know, Windows 8 has not been as successful as Microsoft hoped. The operating system was criticized and proved to be liked just because of its design and other features that made it very different from the versions of Windows to which most are used: XP and 7. Of course you need to correct this, and to do that Microsoft has planned a new update: Windows Blue.
But, why do we mention the service pack at the beginning? Because this update will not have the typical format "Windows XP Service Pack 3" and the like, but will be known as " Windows 8.1 ", ie shortly SP could say goodbye forever.
Name the updates and is very unusual for Microsoft, and indeed follows the models used by Apple and Linux operating systems.
If you wonder about the details of the update is not yet known nothing new or no official data. We suggest consulting the Windows Blue link (above) to see what might bring.
In your opinion, what should I include this new update of Windows?

Microsoft may be developing their own glasses Glass

http://i.imgur.com/sTvFXO8.jpg

The smart glasses (or whatever they are to be known these devices) are the new fashion apparently. Google has certainly started a small revolution in the world of technology with this mixture between smartphone and glasses, as far was not seen anything similar. As I commented that Baidu , the biggest search engine in China, is preparing glasses to compete with Glass ofGoogle , but it is not the only company doing it. Microsoft also joined the party, or rather, war as it is said the giant software would also be developing a similar device to rival any the search engine company.
Rumors about the "wearable technology", to call in some way, have increased significantly in recent months, since the departure of the Glass is closer, but not yet announced. Remember also Apple is working on a modern device that we can use, in this case a watch now known as iWatch.
Analyst Brian J. White is the source of the rumor on glasses of Microsoft, and since it is the first person who touches the subject, it is natural that we have our doubts, especially because analysts are not always right with his "predictions".
Do you think that Microsoft is developing their own glasses or that White is wrong?

Windows 7 and XP operating systems remain the most popular

 http://i.imgur.com/FonECgR.jpg

We just finished the first quarter of the year and we already have several details on the use of operating systems in the world today. According to reports the firm NetMarketShare, Windows 7 still retains the title of the most used operating system in the world. Of course we are talking about a level of desktop and laptop computers, tablets or mobile no.
Windows 7 is used by 44.7% of the teams in the world, while in second place comes the familiar Windows XP, considered by many as the best operating system version of Microsoft . XP has a percentage of 38.7%. It is noteworthy that both versions have fallen slightly compared to their percentage of the end of 2012. The third and fourth places are occupying Windows Vista and Windows 8, respectively, in quantities of less than 5% in both cases.
Mac OS X 10.8 has become a little more popular, reaching 2.65%, while the most used operating system in the world free, Linux has a low 1.17%.
Given the scenario as it comes, no major changes are expected for this quarter, but one thing is certain: Windows will continue to lead as it has done for many years.

Microsoft opens doors for tablets 7 and 8 inches

http://i.imgur.com/5CkULTg.jpg

The official requirements for tablets that run with Windows 8 have been modified. Because of this, Microsoft opens doors to manufacturers so they can launch tablets of 7 and 8 inches to run your operating system known. Previously, it was required that the minimum screen resolution was 1366 × 768 pixels, but now it is down a little until the 1024 × 768 pixels. While it is a small difference, it may be a big change for many.
Rumors indicate that HTC is one of the first companies to show interest in a Windows tablet 7 inch, plus the device can make calls.
Note that in the minimum resolution can not be used to run two applications Snap simultaneously on the screen, although it is assumed that this small inconvenience should be corrected with the arrival of Windows Blue, which talked about for days.
Microsoft says that changing the minimum requirements will allow manufacturers to test new designs. So far, all Windows 8 tablets that have been launched have a screen 10 inches or larger. Because small tablets like the Nexus 7 and the iPad Mini are very popular, maybe releasing a Windows tablet 7 or 8 inches is not a bad idea.
What do you think?

More than 50,000 apps in the Windows Store

 http://i.imgur.com/zhdiO4x.jpg
You could say that an operating system is as good as the amount of apps that are available, so the more the better. And speaking of many applications, the famous store apps Microsoft , the Windows Store , and has a total of more than 50,000 applications for its users to download and use. This data and some more can be viewed on the website MetroStore Scanner , whereby the total is now 50,341 different applications.
Recall that in late November there were about 25,000 applications, and that number had grown to 44,000 last month. As the weeks progress, it is likely that the rate of increase is done growing.
Remember also expected higher revenue of applications thanks to the recent campaign launched by Microsoft. The company is willing to pay to those who develop applications for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 .
If you are a developer, tell us: are you developing an application for Windows or have already a launched ?

Microsoft provides Windows developers money

http://i.imgur.com/lejOEEH.jpg

Are you a developer of applications for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8? Then we have good news for you. Microsoft, the software giant will offer up to $ 100 to those who believe a new app for each of the above platforms. It will be possible to send up to 10 apps for each and can collect up to $ 2,000 to do so. There is no doubt that Microsoft is doing a lot of promotion to Windows with its extensive marketing campaign. Consider that this special promotion will end on June 30, which will be active ie just over 3 months.

To get hold of a bit of money from Microsoft we must consider only three things:

She will pay for the first 10,000 apps worthwhile.
-Applications must be of quality and function should be really useful.
-Not copy other apps must be completely new.

This kind of campaign was actually launched in early March, but Microsoft was not too mention until recently. Remember also that MS is not alone in using this strategy, as BlackBerry also been used.

HTC is working on a maps app

http://i.imgur.com/DEbTwxE.jpg

One of the reasons that leads people to choose smartphones like the Nokia Lumia 920 and others, is due to a couple of great maps and navigation applications that are available only on phones of the famous Finnish manufacturer. We are talking about Nokia Maps and Nokia Drive, of course. As you also know, Nokia is today considered the leading seller of Windows Phone smartphones, and therefore their applications are the rulers navigations in this market. But we must not forget that HTC has also released several Windows Phone smartphones in the past, and seems well now aims to compete with Nokia in this area as it would be preparing its own mapping and navigation.
Recall that last year HTC launched the app you see above, HTC Locations, which is not available for Windows Phone 8, so it is quite likely that the idea of the company is to take your software to the latest version of the operating system mobile Microsoft .
We do not know either if this application is exclusive for WP or also be coming to the Android platform, but for sure soon we will learn more.

http://i.imgur.com/OxvedYZ.jpg

This is a 11.6 inch tablet that incorporates rounded edges and runs with Windows 8, the latest version of the popular operating system Microsoft. The Gigabyte S1185 has an Intel Core i5 third generation and also its Full HD screen has to be multitouch and allows us to get all the juice to the operating system applications, which we know is very much geared for touch devices. Windows 8 has failed to improve sales of PCs

http://i.imgur.com/MGhV6Fp.jpg

What you see in the title has said one executive of South Korea's Samsung. Jun. Dong-soo, chairman of the memory chip division of the company, said that Windows 8 has failed in its efforts to strengthen sales the computer desktop. In addition, Mr. Dong-soo believes that the PC market will fail to recover soon.
Dong-soo said, in terms of impact to the industry level, that Windows 8 is better than Windows Vista, one of the above platforms Microsoft, known for being despised by most users. The executive also said that due to the failure of Windows 8, the market for desktop computers will begin to lose sales versus device market phones .
Dong-soo seems decided to say what I thought, and also stated that the launch of the Surface has had very little market demand and also says that the failure of many ultrabooks is due to the Windows platform.
While W8 has not been as successful as it was expected, some companies say they are good times ahead for the market for PCs
What do you think? Windows 8 has really failed as did Windows Vista?

New version of Windows Phone is coming

http://i.imgur.com/K38tqa6.jpg

Microsoft is planning to release a new version of its Windows Phone operating system in the coming months, or so, which suggests a recent publication personnel search firm has done.
The company behind Windows requires an engineer and develop software to work with the Windows Phone mobile operating system. It seems to be an ideal time to join the project, since they are putting the finishing touches on the current version of WP and is expected to launch a new in a few months.
Of course we still do not know anything at all about the features that will future version of Windows Phone, but we hope to be released about September and October. Remember WP8 was launched last October and WP7.5 surfaced in September 2011, so the release date of the future WP8.5, WP9 or whatever his name is sure to be roughly similar.
According to some reports, the new version code-named "Windows Phone Blue", but for now there are no more details.
