The Acer Aspire V5 has been on the market for a while, but to take full advantage of Windows 8, Acer has decided to improve the V5 updating it with a touch screen. The new Acer Aspire V5 Touch is similar to its predecessor, but differs in that it has a touch screen and obviously runs with the new Windows 8.
Specifications include a 14 or 15.6 inch, Intel Core processor third-generation NVIDIA GeForce GT 600M, 8GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB hard drive and DVD burner.
Secondary specifications include Dolby Advanced Audio v2, two speakers, HDMI, card reader, 1.3 megapixel HD webcam, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 + HS, Port USB 3.0 and a 5 hour battery duration.
The Acer Aspire V5 Touch will be available in October and its starting price is $ 775 U.S. dollars.
