Panasonic's return to the European market is accompanied with an OLED screen and 4.3-inch size ideal to conveniently view movies, videos and websites.
In terms of connectivity the device supports 3G networks, WiFi and DLNA technologies used, NFC and Bluetooth. We will not be disconnected for any reason. The operating system has been chosen in the version Android Gingerbread, but before the end of the year we expect the final upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
To fight in a market full of great deals, Panasonic offers the ELUGA with reinforced chassis designed to prevent accidents with water and dust. The only thing left out is the final price that will have this new Panasonic model you want to return to the market strength of the European continent.
The manufacturer put the phone on sale in free format and thereafter any user regardless of the operator can get it, but the lack of money means we can not recommend it yet because it is unknown how much it costs to get this phone, without be high-end performance features more than satisfactory.

Product Reviews

Panasonic ELUGA design is one of the first things most striking about this new smartphone. Has less than 8 millimeters thick and even with battery weighs about 105 grams.

The screen is 4.3 inches, a size more than acceptable, and has a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. It uses an OLED panel and different accessories ranging from integrated GPS and a gyroscope to the ambient light sensor.
The rigid chassis is also a plus since it allows a mobile with greater resistance to water and dust. In terms of connectivity the new Panasonic ELUGA is very versatile as it has WiFi, 3G and support for NFC and DLNA, and Bluetooth. By having Android is also very wide range of supported formats for multimedia playback, but factory and comes with support for the most important: MP4, DivX, Mp3 and the like.
Despite the large size of the screen the Panasonic ELUGA is very light, and to use an operating system versatile and full of applications, is a very attractive smartphone, even without being targeted audiences more ambitious. There remains the issue of price, but with a good marketing plan could become a mid-range phone but attractive for its wide range of possibilities.

Positives

Its design is extremely thin, the Panasonic ELUGA only has 7.8 millimeters thick. The fact that it will be upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is important because major mobile devices are making the jump to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean would be a setback so stay with the Gingerbread version.
The internal memory of 8 GB is also a plus because it allows plenty of space for photos, videos, music, games and other applications. Finally connectivity, Panasonic Mobile ELUGA is working with leading technologies and allows connectivity to stay connected.

Negatives

On the downside, the Panasonic model ELUGA smartphone has a camera without flash that will not take clear pictures in low light, and lacks the HDMI input that it is almost a tradition in smartphones.
But since it is a return to the market, make a strong and discreet mobile may have been a better choice.

Conclusion

With the support and prestige of the firm Panasonic, the smartphone ELUGA try to get a place in the smartphone market fought. This is a handy mobile phone, well endowed in terms of connections and with a large screen and strong.

It falls short of the high end phones from Samsung and the new Nokia, but it's a nice try maybe doing well in the middle sector. For now is wait for price confirmation if it will get an affordable phone.
Panasonic ELUGA is very thin, no more than 8 mm, and comes in two colors for customization lovers can choose the one they like.
