Motorized chair made from Legos

 http://i.imgur.com/qNi3a.jpg

ometimes I think Lego blocks can be used to build anything that passes through our mind. One of these creations is a scooter that has been assembled from Lego Mindstorm. The power wheelchair is made mostly of Lego blocks and incorporates a system of small motors, touch sensors have multiple and multidirectional wheels.
It should be borne in mind that there is a chair designed for heavier individuals, as are its limit 90 kilograms. For now it is controlled by a sort of command, but is expected to develop a control function via Bluetooth so that we can control it with our smartphone.

A fully functional jet engine made from LEGO blocks

Create a replica of a Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 from 152,455 LEGO blocks is certainly a challenge. This replica weighs about 307 kg and is 2 meters long and 1 meter wide. The design was presented recently at the Farnborough aviation fair that takes place in England. The structure is considered the most complex built from LEGO blocks.
Rolls-Royce says they were first armed the 160 engine components and then all were assembled to form what we see in the picture above. The team that built were 4 engineers who took two months to complete the task.
The replica is half the size of the true Rolls-Royce Trent 1000, but still fully functional and much quieter. I just hope the company does not intend to place it on a plane.
