A week ago, the folks at Google was investing $ 200 million in a wind farm in Texas, and now have returned to make another great investment. A couple of days ago, the search giant approved investment of no less than $ 1,000 million for the new company's headquarters will be located in the UK, more precisely in the heart of London. Google definitely has a lot of money, right?

The company's new headquarters, which will be completed around 2016, will consist of a building of approximately 92,000 square meters. As estimated, the building itself will cost about $ 1.6 billion dollars. Its construction will begin later this year.

Matt Britin, Google's vice president for North and Central Europe, has said that this is a major investment by the company. Eyes are focused on the UK, where computing and web were invented

No doubt good news for Google, for London and for the UK.

If you love the sport, the Olympic Games insurance is something you can not miss. Who has won a medal in swimming? What time are the tests of gymnastics? What are the best placed athletes? All that and more will be available in the new app BBC Olympics. There are two versions of the application: one for the UK and another for the rest of the world. Apparently, the only difference is that the UK version allows you to view a live broadcast of events, but the rest are equal.
The price of BBC Olympics is free and is available in Google Play.
