Unsurprisingly devices mobile as smartphones and tablets are chosen as Christmas gifts because they are usually perfect and useful for everyone. What did surprise us a bit is the amount of tablets and smartphones that were sold in this past Christmas. Sales broke all records and what expectations.
According to a report by the firm Flurry, the number of devices activated iOS and Android this Christmas were a total of 17.4 million. It is a big number for a single day. Between December 1 and December 20 were activated on average 4 million devices a day, so the last 25 numbers grew by approximately 332%. When compared to last year, the record was 6.8 million, we will see that also exceeds.
Besides this, 51% of devices were activated tables, while the remaining 49% were mobile.
