The Wii helps surgeons improve their skills to operate

http://i.imgur.com/QUCxfeS.jpg

Yes, believe it or not. As the title says, a recent study that seeks to improve the methods of practice for surgeons has revealed that playing the Nintendo Wii has some unexpected benefits. Surgeons who use the popular Nintendo console usually have very good performance at work in the operating room.
Playing with the Nintendo Wii seems to have a positive effect that improves coordination between our eyes and our hands, while also improving spatial attention of the person.
Recently tests conducted one month duration. A group of surgeons graduates implemented Wii sessions to your workout, while another similar group did not. As a result, it was found that the group that made normal practices and "practiced" playing the Wii did better than not played the popular console.
The research is undoubtedly very interesting, and probably use the Wii also can be applied to improve performance in other types of jobs, mostly in those requiring high accuracy, great care and a good deal of coordination.

Along with the announcement, have been revealed the names and shapes of three new Pokémon, called Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie. In addition, the video hints at two new Pokémon "legendary", one similar to a bird and another that resembles a deer.
Doing a bit of history, the Pokémon franchise originated in 1996 with the release of two video games in Japan: Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green, and from then on began to emerge more video games and even a popular animated series, among many others products.

Nvidia Project SHIELD, a handheld capable of running PC games

http://i.imgur.com/xdpeR.jpg

With this there is no doubt that Nvidia has declared war on Nintendo and Sony. Nvidia, known for its powerful graphics cards, has introduced his own handheld console, the Nvidia Project SHIELD, which is a kind of combination of a 5-inch screen and a control game . What makes it great? Well you can run PC games via WiFi, supports the Unreal Engine 4, which is currently the most advanced and we can also provide a great 4K resolution via a TV. It seems that processors phones have become as powerful as the PCs from a couple of years ago.
The chip in particular is leading the new Nvidia Tegra 4, the world's best mobile processor. It is a quad-core ARM Cortex-A15 architecture and able to give us a 4K resolution when connected to a display that support. Moreover, the Tegra 4 consumes 45% less energy than a Tegra 3. The SHIELD Project also includes several ports such as USB 3.0 , HDMI, headphone jack and even has a microSD card reader.
The 5-inch screen of the console has HD resolution and provides us with a density of 294 pixels per inch. The battery will last us about 10 hours of play or about 24 hours of HD video playback.
Regarding the buttons, is the standard: two analog, 4 main, a couple on the sides and address controls.
Incidentally, Project SHIELD is based on Android 4.1, so we also have a lot of extra applications and games to enjoy. And by the way, the console already has the support of two major industry companies gamer: Ubisoft and Epic Games.

The Wii Mini will be launched in Canada and will cost $ 100

http://i.imgur.com/g71TI.jpg

The Wii Mini is totally real, that's a fact. Another fact is that the new Nintendo console and small will be priced at $ 100, which makes it the cheapest on the market. The only problem with this is that the launch of the Wii Mini will, initially, only in Canada.
As we said, this little Wii will cost only $ 100 and include a sensor bar, a red MotionPlus and Nunchuk also red. What I do not get for that price is the ability to connect to the internet (ie you will not have WiFi) and the ability to play GameCube games, or in other words: the Wii Mini only be used to play games and Wii around, which, by the way, I do not feel bad.
The Mini Wii will be released in Canada on Dec. 7, and later reach the rest of the globe, but there seems no exact dates yet.

U Wii sold 400,000 units in its first week

http://i.imgur.com/euzZ0.jpg

The Wii U, the great new Nintendo console, and has sold 400,000 units in its first week on the market, and the company president said that is nearly exhausted in most stores resellers.
The console, which was released on 18 November in the United States, was very well received and there were long queues at Nintendo's flagship store in New York. But not only the Wii U had good sales last week, and thanks to Black Friday other consoles of the company were priced very low, to the point that the original Wii could be purchased for only $ 100 and sold 300,000 units thereof. The NDS and 3DS also sold well, achieving over 500,000 units between them.
To make a little analogy, the original Wii sold 475,000 units in its first eight days in the U.S. market, so there is no doubt that his successor is well under way.
Does anyone around here have plans to buy a Wii U?

A Mini Wii could be released on December 7

http://i.imgur.com/dksxc.jpg

With regards to consoles, the Wii U is the new major release of year-end and no doubt many people will want to buy one for Christmas. The new system launched by Nintendo not only seems to be one of the more successful products in the coming months, but can not be the only console that the company put up for sale by the end of the year.
Various rumors are circulating that there is a call Wii Mini to be launched on 7 December. People from Nintendo World Report said that a large retailer plans to sell this new mini-console early next month, but unfortunately the details about the device are currently unknown.
The Wii Mini is quite interesting, as it will be a smaller version of the Wii, which is already quite small when measuring 8.4 × 6.1 × 1.7 inches.

The poor sales of Nintendo

http://i.imgur.com/jRlmt.jpg

As announced yesterday, Nintendo sales between July and September were not expected, and in fact were below what the company expected. Not only selling the 3DS console is down, but even the popular Wii, as announced to have sold 10.5 million units by year's end, only reached 5 million.
As we said, the 3DS sales have also fallen and now Nintendo estimates that will not reach the sales that had planned. While in August and September sales were good, mainly thanks to the launch of the 3DS XL and some catchy titles, sales fell again in October. Still, it is noteworthy that the total sales of the 3DS in 2012 will exceed those that were last year.
Moreover, this is not an issue that only affects Nintendo, but the industry videogames in general. Many do not know why that is, but it seems pretty clear that the device market mobile is having something to do, because every time out best tablets and smartphones capable of running better games.
For now, the eyes of many focus on the new Nintendo Wii U to be released in November .

Popularity of games on mobile devices increases

 http://i.imgur.com/j464k.jpg

Not long ago ago, Nintendo and Sony were the leaders in the mobile gaming market thanks to consoles like the Nintendo DS and the PSP. Now, due to the increasing popularity of smartphones and other devices phones , which are increasingly well equipped, popular mobile consoles are not as popular.
During the last quarter of the year, Nintendo sold 1.8 million 3DS units worldwide, which is a good number, but nothing impressive. On the other hand, the PS Vita Sony had a good launch, but the company is struggling to maintain sales. One of the reasons that lead pricipales low sales is the increasing number of devices with iOS and Android. More and more titles are released and popular new mobile devices and this is not good for Sony and Nintendo, who have had poor sales compared to previous years.

Wii's online service will be free U

Often (but not always) the fact that something has to be free is not good quality. We're not sure if Nintendo is aware of this, but the company will continue to offer the online service for U Wii without charging a cent. The launch of the console is expected for the month of August.
LIVE Gold and PlayStation Plus are paid subscription services available for the Xbox 360 and PS3, respectively. These paid services have the advantage of offering more features and a lot of applications premium, unlike the free versions of them.
The service for Nintendo Wii, called "Wi-Fi Connection", or comes close to those already mentioned and is not such a large community such as Xbox LIVE and PSN.
The fact is that maintaining services like LIVE and PS Plus Gold costs money, why are not free. Besides this, surely any gamer would rather pay some extra dollars and have available an effective online service and a community of active players with perfect attendance, which seems to be the case of the service offered by Nintendo.
Once the Wii is released U, we have to wait and see how things evolve.
