What is the most corrupt government in the world?

http://i.imgur.com/ivQ9D.png

Occasionally we include in the occasional blog article that has no direct relationship with technology, but in this case maybe it has it indirectly. Specifically it is a study by Transparency International that gives a score to each country in the world according to their level of corruption. The points to be taken into account to assess each country are cases of bribery, speculation, nepotism and corruption and dirty dealings in the public sector.

The end result may not surprise many, but I think the results in the country where I live are really optimistic. Yet you get the big picture and you realize something important: the first world countries, the richest and most prosperous have lower levels of corruption, just the opposite in the third world countries. The main problem is that the only ones who can remove corruption in a country are corrupt governing them, so it's a bottomless pit right? If your country does not appear in the graphics still look complete ranking in the world rankings by country here.

Greek athlete is expelled from the Olympics after a tweet

 Greek triple jump champion

The athlete Papachristou Voula, Greek triple jump champion, will have to leave the Olympic venues in London and return home after making an offensive tweet last Monday. The declaration of the athlete on Twitter was considered racist by members of the Greek government, which prevented it from representing the country in competitions.

The tweet was: "With so many Africans in Greece, at least the West Nile mosquitoes (which transmit a disease) can eat food from their own land."

One of the three parties that form the basis of the Greek government - the Democratic Left - ordered the athlete in a statement:

"Humor and racist jokes offensive to human lives are not tolerated by socidade Greek and can not thrive in Greek athletics. The least the Olympic committee can do now is to revoke the right of Voula Papachristou to compete in the Olympics," he says. "Watching on TV, she can make all the jokes that she wants, but is not sure she will represent Greece in London."

Papachristou apologized after the fact. "I am very ashamed of what I did, though he did not want to offend anyone or infringing human rights," he said.
