While K55 Asus notebooks have been around for a while, we knew that the company was working on a new computer that uses the technology of AMD APU Trinity. The new laptop is the Asus K55DR-SX055V, which has an APU-4500 A8 AMD quad-core at 1.5GHz and has a 15.6 inch LED backlit.
The specifications of the Asus K55DR include a 500GB hard drive, 8GB of RAM, screen resolution of 1366 x 768, graphics card AMD Radeon HD 7670 and a DVD burner.
The rest of the features of the Asus K55DR complete with WiFi, Ethernet, Bluetooth, webcam, card reader, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, HDMI interface and a 6-cell battery.
The notebook is available, at least in Italy, for $ 600, and not surprisingly you get to other markets soon.
