Ubuntu reveal its mobile operating system at CES

http://i.imgur.com/IMdrK.jpg

This is what I call great news. Ubuntu is probably the best-known Linux distro, but is far from being a significant share of the market for computers . But it seems that their plans are different, then decided to enter the market of mobile with its new operating system for smartphones. Yes, a version of Ubuntu for mobile.
The popular Linux system has been recreated and inserted into a mobile. To get an idea, this is equivalent to Microsoft Windows 8 reschedule and make a mobile version from it, which no doubt would take much time and effort, as they carried the Ubuntu guys.
Very unfortunately has not been released on hardware of mobile phones that use Ubuntu, but it uses the same drivers that at least we know that Android developers will give us some great surprises few apps and more.
The OS will be officially unveiled on Tuesday at the CES 2013.

New Dell laptop running with Ubuntu and are dirt cheap

http://i.imgur.com/e3YjR.jpg

If here is a fan of Linux, or preferably the Ubuntu distro, who is looking for a new laptop or notebook then we have good news , since Dell has started selling two new low-end models that run with said operating system .
Teams are the Vostro 2420 and 2520. The only difference between them is that the former has a 14-inch screen while her sister has a 15.6-inch. The strangest part is that both cost the same: $ 300.
Obviously for that price one must wait for hardware very weak, and the truth is that it is, since the processor that carry these two laptops Intel Celeron B820 is a dual-core 1.7GHz and the sad thing is that we can not acquire with a more powerful one. There is an identical version but with Windows 7 it costs $ 370, and if in addition to this we add an Intel Core i3 will cost us $ 420.
Using Dell Ubuntu has given is actually a bit poor and gives the impression that the company thinks who uses a computer these do not need a big machine, which is true only in part. Let's be honest: a computer cost $ 300 and with CPU Celeron is really small thing, but this kind of systems aimed at an audience that's used for simple tasks that do not require much resource consumption, but with the release of Steam for Linux that is about to change.
