http://i.imgur.com/Lhex8I2.jpg

Secondly we have the iOS Apple, which only smartphones level is used by the iPhone. And thirdly we have to ... Symbian? No. BlackBerry? Nor. Third place now belongs to Windows Phone, Microsoft's mobile OS that is becoming very popular apparently.
According to the latest report released by International Data Corporation (IDC), Windows Phone has sold more than 7 million smartphones in the last quarter of the year, which gives it a 3.2% market share. That does not sound like much, but enough to put the operating system in third place behind iOS and Android. BlackBerry remains in fourth place with 2.9%.
The recent rush Windows Phone is mainly due to Nokia and HTC phones that have been launched in recent months, which have served to give a boost to sales of these types of smartphones.
In your opinion, what is the best mobile platform: Android, iOS, WP, BB or another?

Instagram? Could reach Windows Phone?

http://i.imgur.com/pnCfXzP.jpg

If there is an app that users of the Windows Phone platform from Microsoft for sure miss that is Instagram. Windows Phone While there are some alternatives for implementation, there is nothing that can be compared to the original which is available for both Android and iOS. Now we ask ourselves one day be released a native app Instagram for Windows Phone? And the answer is yes, or at least that's what the guys from Nokia suggest.
The official Facebook page for Sweden to Nokia company has missed a small detail: Instagram to have said that Windows Phone is coming, but not yet have a release date. Obviously the comment is already cleared, but we must remember that there was a similar case in March, when a tweet from Nokia was said that the aforementioned app was in development.
Why Nokia erased your comment? As could be because they put something that was not right, or what everyone thinks, that what they wrote was not yet being released.
What do you think? Are Windows Phone users should be prepared for the arrival of Instagram?

HTC is working on a maps app

http://i.imgur.com/DEbTwxE.jpg

One of the reasons that leads people to choose smartphones like the Nokia Lumia 920 and others, is due to a couple of great maps and navigation applications that are available only on phones of the famous Finnish manufacturer. We are talking about Nokia Maps and Nokia Drive, of course. As you also know, Nokia is today considered the leading seller of Windows Phone smartphones, and therefore their applications are the rulers navigations in this market. But we must not forget that HTC has also released several Windows Phone smartphones in the past, and seems well now aims to compete with Nokia in this area as it would be preparing its own mapping and navigation.
Recall that last year HTC launched the app you see above, HTC Locations, which is not available for Windows Phone 8, so it is quite likely that the idea of the company is to take your software to the latest version of the operating system mobile Microsoft .
We do not know either if this application is exclusive for WP or also be coming to the Android platform, but for sure soon we will learn more.

The end of Symbian

 http://i.imgur.com/akUxBQR.jpg

You know what they say, all good things come to an end. Symbian's adventures are over after having been in this world since the 90s. The Nokia 808 PureView is, officially, the last Symbian phone ever. The guys at Nokia have said during the company's transition to Windows Phone in 2012 yet continued to sell Symbian phones, but the 808 PureView, launched in mid-2012, has been chosen as the last bearer of that operating system.

Throughout its history Symbian underwent many changes, but began to decline with the introduction of the iPhone and smartphones with touch screens and does about 5 or 6 years ago.

There is no doubt that Nokia will now begin to focus all its production to smartphones that run Windows Phone.

iPhone becoming less popular among teens

http://i.imgur.com/skuTe.jpg

About 2 years ago, almost everyone wanted an iPhone, but now there are other great options such as Android or Windows Phone.
Tina Wells of Buzz Marketing Group told Forbes that teenagers think that Apple is not as popular. Apple has done a good job to attract the attention of adults to their smartphone , but that does not happen with the younger generations, which are becoming interested in other products.
This is not the first time, declined by iOS device popularity among teenagers, in the past has been the same and in many cases young people opt for the Android platform and a terminal created by Samsung . The main reasons are two flaws in Apple products and services, and also the emergence of application stores large rivals like Google Play and Windos Phone Store.
What do you think? Does Apple's popularity is down to youth level or even across the board?

Nokia could end up in the hands of Huawei and Microsoft

http://i.imgur.com/2pSd1.jpg

While Nokia became the king of the market for mobile phones , and it was several years ago. Since then they have dropped several positions and finally over manufacturing smartphones with Windows Phone operating system, which still has a long way to reach the industry giants: iOS and Android. But maybe Nokia's efforts during this time are not used much in case the company is sold. The analyst Tristan Louis says that in 2013 Nokia could be passed on to other companies such as Huawei or giant software , Microsoft .
Currently Nokia does not seem to have plans to be sold, and although they have had some bad times in recent months, since the launch of the Lumia 920 with Windows Phone 8, things have improved a lot.
What do you think? Is 2013 the year that Nokia will improve your business or be the year that will be the company that we all know?

RIM promises more than 70,000 apps when it launches BlackBerry 10

http://i.imgur.com/ylTpT.jpg

The applications are a key for any mobile operating system. Android does, iOS does, Windows Phone has them too and are the 3 most used smartphone market. BB10? Take them? Sure. That RIM has promised recently that your new platform will have a lot of applications at our disposal when launched. Frank Boulben, the marketing manager of the company, says there will be over 70,000 apps for BlackBerry 10 when the OS is released.
While this is an impressive number for a new mobile platform will be launched, it is still a small amount compared to what it offers iTunes Store and Play. Even WP has 100,000 apps, but its growth rate is much slower and gives the impression that BB10 will soon surpass.
So far, what is your opinion on what we have seen of BB10? Do you think it will be a good mobile platform?

HTC mobile stop WP develop over 5 inches

According to sources familiar with the guys from HTC have opted to stop making large smartphones that run Windows Phone.
What is the reason behind this? Well due to the maximum screen resolution that supports Windows Phone, which is 1280 × 720 pixels, which as we know is equivalent to an HD resolution. Apparently, HTC believes that this resolution is too low to smartphones over 5 inches, which have to compete with Android models that support a higher resolution thanks to the great technology of the OS. As a comparison, the HTC Droid DNA (J Butterfly) is an Android with 5-inch screen with full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels).
Another possible reason is the numbers, because HTC is not doing very well lately, and its market share has dropped a bit, so you probably want to focus on what matters most to consumers: Android.
Comment: Can Windows Phone models, with 5-inch screen and HD resolution, racing mobile Android of equal size but with full HD?

Nokia Maps for iOS HERE

http://i.imgur.com/X49TH.jpg

Does anyone out here besides me, who does not like the maps application that comes by default with iOS 6? Well the solution is here and is called Nokia Maps HERE, an app based on HTML5 maps. Yes, that means that it is a native application, but still presenting Nokia has shown that the application can be very effective and certainly is better than using Google Maps on the web browser.
This version of Nokia Maps HERE has everything to which they are accustomed to Windows Phone users, including data on public transport which were not included in the app to Apple . The design of the maps may not be as good as Google's application, to give an example, but what is more aimed HERE Maps functionality.
HERE Nokia Maps has been sent to the Apple app store and is waiting to be approved. It's free, so when we lose nothing by Lance have a look, right?
