It seems that the rumors were true. After much speculation, has officially confirmed that the tablet BlackBerry RIM PlayBook 4G LTE will be released on August 9, but first come to Canada and then to other markets.
Along with the announcement of the BlackBerry PlayBook 4G LTE, were released the specifications of the device. For starters, it uses a 7-inch touch screen whose resolution is 1024 × 600, inside a processor dual-core 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. Other specifications also include coverage 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, micro USB port, HDMI micro port, GPS, 3 megapixel front camera and a 5 megapixel rear, plus a pair of stereo parlanes.
There is a WiFi-only version (no 4G) using a 1GHz processor and memory has 16/32/64GB. Both models come PlayBook 4G LTE with software included, among which we find an application store, a music, one for videos and more features are also built using the Playbook OS 2 operating system, including integration with social networks.
Will this tablet RIM's salvation? Time will tell.
