Made in the UK, the kit is RescueTec absorbs moisture up to 700% more than rice or un300% from the silica gel. Has passed rigorous laboratory testing and has demonstrated effectiveness in recovering mobile phones and other electronic devices even after prolonged immersion in water.

An ingenious solution

Liquids and electronics are not good companions, if a phone gets wet and do not act quickly we can start thinking about removing it because surely stop working. Thinking that investment in new Android phone type is not cheap, there is a great solution and cheap addition, a kit that helps absorb liquid mobile components, called RescueTec.

If a phone gets wet is the first thing I recommend turning off the device so you can avoid greater evils in phone chips, however if you have wet must be dried as soon as possible. Often used the hair dryer to heat but sometimes is not the most suitable for electronic components.

How RescueTec

1-If liquid has us on the phone, we have been wet from the rain, at the beach or any other incident the first thing is to turn off the phone.

If the liquid spill out salt water or any other liquid that you turn off the phone and conduct a quick rinse with water to remove traces of salt or other chemicals, then proceed as indicated.

2 - Once the housing is removed off the phone and battery. Use rags and paper towels to dry as much as possible the mobile.

3 - Open RescuTec kit. In the bag we introduce the mobile and other components that are indicated in the instruction manual. We will see that there are some circles sensors that turn pink on contact with moisture, and are blue when the object is dry.

4 - Place the phone along with the envelope in the kit and the humidity indicator out close the bag tightly. Wait two days for the moisture disappears.

5-After two days the sensors have to be blue, and if so you can put the battery back and the housing, and means that the device does not have moisture.

There is a possibility if the immersion liquid has been very long or was a chemical liquid, the apparatus has been damaged despite the RescueTec not work but you have a good chance that the device having no moisture and works as before.

The kit comes RescueTec for about 20 € so expensive investment is not thinking we can save hundreds of dollars on a new phone. You can buy it online in the mobile accessories shop Octilus.com
