NASA Morpheus is demonstrating its new landing system

 NASA

While the arrival of Mars Curiosity is what else has been busy this month NASA, the agency has also been busy doing other things such as trying to Morpheus, the new landing system.
Morpheus is equipped with two key technologies for successful landings: a system that detects obstacles and a proponent of methane, which could not only be used during landings, but also during space travel, and also obtain methane appears to be a problem through fields of ice on the moon so much as on Mars. It is also estimated that every year, the International Space Station and discarded much methane produced to fill the tank of Morpheus.
The obstacle detection system is used to find a safe spot to land, without large rocks or cracks or anything like that.

Now the plants are watered themselves

 http://i.imgur.com/qKMk0.jpg

Have you already tired of watering your plants or just have time to do it? So this could definitely be the solution you're looking for, and thanks to the miracle technology we have today, plants are able to be irrigated by themselves .
The system we see in the image, created by Randy Sarafan, works easily and is quite basic. All you need is one of the excellent control plates Arduino, a sensor for soil moisture and a small water pump. How does this work? It is something simple and you probably already have noticed: when the sensor detects that the land of the plant lack moisture, sends a signal to the Arduino board, which causes the pump to give it a refreshed our little green friend until the sensor indicates that the moisture is sufficient. But beware, because for this to work you need to have water pump and the electric power system has provided.

Researchers develop a system that blocks our mobile while driving

The risks of going on the phone while driving or going to write a text message are just known, yet people are still doing. While some countries have laws banning cellphone use by drivers, are often ignored.
Recently, researchers at the University Anna of Technology , located in India, have created a new system that prevents the driver is talking or texting on his mobile.
The system is activated when it detects that the driver is using his phone and quickly blocks the signal from it. The problem that can happen is they lock the phones in the rest of those who are in the vehicle, although this should not happen because it is a short-range system.
Besides this, it is planned that the system can be integrated with the offices of the traffic control departments in order to reduce the use of cameras.
We will have to follow him closely to see how it evolves.
