The Microsoft admitted that the release of Surface may have been an error and can harm your relationships with other manufacturers devices with Windows.

According to the New York Times , the Microsoft sent its annual report to the Securities and Exchange Commission of the United States, and one of 100 pages of the document recognizes that the family she Surface can weaken the support of other companies to Windows.
"Our Surface device will compete with products made by our partner manufacturers, which can affect their commitment to our platform," the company wrote.
