When Apple introduced Mac OS X 10.8 Lion Mountain said he had about 200 new features, but never mentioned that a reduction in battery life was one of these functions. A large number of operating system users have complained in the Apple forums, saying that after the installation of Mountain Lion Battery for your Mac is consumed much faster. One such person said that after the upgrade the battery began to take half of what it was prior.
A user reports that his 13-inch MacBook Pro lasted nearly all day before installing OS X 10.8 and giving little use, but now barely makes it to half. Theories of why it happens are also present in the Apple forums, but apparently nothing is clear yet.
The company Apple is already aware of the facts and is contacting users to collect data and find the root of the problem.
