The headaches continue for Twitter. It seems that every few months the popular microblogging site is experiencing some hack or some form of high-impact attack. The most recent was probably the last February 1. On day 02, the company announced that 250,000 user accounts have been affected. He also was quick to say that the small cut of the 01 not had anything to do with the attack, which coincidentally took place the same day it is believed,

Twitter quickly changed the passwords of 250,000 accounts and revoked tokens login. Affected users have received your new password in your mail account.

Apparently, the attack has affected users who have registered all in 2007 and looks like it was quite sophisticated. The company believes that it is the work of professional hackers and do not consider it to be an isolated case. It is believed that other companies and organizations could have been attacked by the same group or the like recently.

Servers newspapers New York Times and Wall Street Journal were also attacked in recent days. It seems that cyber attacks are begun to be directed increasingly to media companies and Internet in general.
