Android continues to dominate the market

http://i.imgur.com/nhuta.jpg

According to a recent report, which deals with the sale of smartphones during the last quarter of the year, the mobile operating system Google still reigns, since 75% of smartphones sold run Android. In other words, this operating system was present in 3 out of 4 phones sold.
We're talking about 136 million units that run a version of Android or another of a total of 181 million. Of course these numbers are due to large sales of high-end phones like the Samsung Galaxy S3 and HTC One X, among others. At the same time, this made BlackBerry phones and Symbian lost market share even higher, which was coming.
Apple also has to take credit for reducing the share of operating systems from RIM and Nokia, as its iPhone sales reached 27 million units, while last year in the same room had sold about 17 million.
The Windows Phone platform from Microsoft remains silent in the background, but it is noteworthy that the number of users has doubled compared to 2011.
What operating system uses your smartphone ? Android?, IOS, BlackBerry, Symbian or Windows Phone?

The iPhone 5 already has more mobile web traffic that the Galaxy S3

http://i.imgur.com/92ZBV.jpg

It seems that when it comes to surfing the web using a smartphone , the new iPhone from Apple rises quickly positions. Currently, the new iPhone 5 is already generating more web traffic than the known mobile Samsung Galaxy S3, or so the data indicate that Chitika Insights has gathered. The firm says that for a week did research that analyzed millions of units of said mobile phones , and on those days (October 3 to 9 or 10 October) 56% of web traffic coming from the side of the iPhone 5, while the remaining 44% belonged to the Galaxy S3.
As we know, the S3 has been on the market for about four months, but the iPhone 5, with just 18 days since it was officially launched, and has managed to surpass its rival at the level of web traffic.
The analyst firm says that the impressive sales of the iPhone 5 and its ability to use 4G networks are responsible for these numbers.

Samsung Galaxy S3 reaches 20 million units

In late July I told you that the Samsung Galaxy S3 had already sold over 10 million units .But now, having been on the market for only three months, the new smartphone has managed to reach 20 million units. With this record, the S3 becomes the most successful smartphone Samsung has released one of the best-selling smartphones in the world, and surely now is the one with the highest number of sales, or at least it is in USA .
If you do not remember the specifics of this beast, you refresh the memory. It has a quad-core Exynos processor or dual-core Snapdragon (depending on model), RAM varies between 1GB and 2GB (also depends on the version), your screen is a Super AMOLED 4.8-inch HD and the internal memory can be 16GB or 32GB. At the time I speak of that would be 64GB, but it seems that the project was canceled. The leading front camera is 1.9 megapixels and the standard is 8 megapixels. It also has some great features like Smart Stay, S Beam or Cast AllShare.

 http://i.imgur.com/ADHre.jpg

Which do you think is the smartphone more Avaz the world? Will the Samsung Galaxy S3? Is the iPhone 4S? Does the HTC One X? No, no and no. The most advanced smartphone of all and the one with the best technology is the new LG Optimus G, which has just been introduced.
This little monster is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 phenomenal Pro, a quad-core that runs at 1.5GHz and is based on the Krait architecture, very similar to the Cortex-A15. This processor can win without problems to the Galaxy S3, which in its international version incorporates a quad-core Exynos based on Cortex-A9 architecture.
Next to said processor, to have placed Optimug G 2GB of RAM and also have equipped with 32GB of internal memory, a 1.3 megapixel front camera and a standard camera of no less than 13 megapixels. Within its frame of only 8mm thick, the phone carries a 2100mAh battery.
Regarding the new LG screen is a 4.7 inch that has a great resolution of 1280 × 768 pixels and a density of 320 pixels per inch, and consumes 70% less energy than traditional AMOLED. The device features 4G connectivity and features a new technology for your battery, which we know virtually nothing of moment.
The GPU is leading the powerful Adreno 320, considered three times better than the Adreno 225. The rest of the connectivity include Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, MHL, NFC and DLNA, and can also find a connector USB 2.0 HS High Speed.
The LG Optimus G will be launched next month in Korea and will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. What do you think about it? Will it be able to compete with the market leaders?

Galaxy Orange Samsung S3 with all options prices from zero euro

 http://i.imgur.com/4oJUT.jpg

Looking at different options pages to buy a Samsung Galaxy S3 (16 GB) free has become clear that for less than 590 euros is hard to find. You'll probably find discounts and who does the FNAC if purchased by Internet or applying Movistar accumulated points but the only option to get it for little or no money is to hire a data plan like those offered by Orange .

If you go to the page web of Orange and pick the Galaxy Samsung S3 with portability from contract, the terminal you can go between 199 and 479 euros . The first price is achieved if the rate contracts Dolphin 79, 59 or 40, and the second price if you decide on the Squirrel 15. In any case, portability is always cheaper than free, unless you have accumulated many points Movistar or Vodafone. We'll give an example with Movistar . The non-discounted price for the Galaxy S III through this operator is of 637 euros . As you accumulate points and using them to purchase, you are discounting euros. Well, to get it for free would have to raise a whopping 300,000 points.
Free Option: Orange with The Phone House
These alternatives may have told you are not flashy enough so we've gone to The Phone House (TPH), which has its own deals with operators such as Orange. For example, we mentioned that the Squirrel 15, the price of S III contracted directly with Orange is 479 euros and yet stays in TPH 439 euros. This happens with all fees provided that the operator's hire orange through this distributor.

In addition, The Phone House offers an opportunity to acquire the free S3 Galaxy : hiring rate Dolphin 59 and Dolphin 79 (only portability from contract to contract and stay with the operator of 24 months and 18 at the rate selected). Why is this so? Simply because we are hiring rates for more expensive talk and surf Orange. The Dolphin 59 has a monthly fee of 69.62 euros, VAT included, and the Dolphin 79 to 93.22 euros. The first gives you 1,000 minutes per month and 750 MB free for navigation, and the second, 2,000 minutes with 1 GB to browse and 500 free SMS per month.http://i.imgur.com/rRwIB.jpg

Features
  • S Voice: This is Samsung’s Siri clone, letting you control the phone with your voice. It’s unclear what the limits of S Voice are (Siri has been infamously criticized for not working as advertised), but Samsung has chosen to emphasize just a few simple tasks users can peform with voice: unlocking the phone, hitting snooze on an alarm, playing songs, sending texts and scheduling events.
  • Smart Stay: Tapping your screen to stop it from timing out before you’re done reading will never happen on the Galaxy S III, according to Samsung. Smart Stay uses the phone’s front-facing camera to monitor your eyes, so it knows when you’re reading, watching video or doing anything where your attention is on the screen but not actively doing anything with it.
  • Face Recognition With Auto Tagging: If your cellphone camera can recognize faces, why not let it assign names to them and automatically tag your photos? The Galaxy S III does this, letting you quickly share (via email or picture message) to all the people in the photo with just a couple of taps — assuming their faces are already associated with your contacts. It’s not clear how this would translate to tagging on Facebook, but it seems like a no-brainer.
  • S Beam: No need for the cloud if you want to share files on the Galaxy S III. You can transfer files up to 1GB to another person’s phone just by tapping them together. The connection is made via short-range near-field communication (NFC) and the files are delivered over Wi-Fi Direct. The feature is limited, though: Both phones have to be Samsung Galaxy S IIIs.
  • Direct Call: This is a simple change, but probably a welcome one for many. If you’re texting someone and decide you want to call them instead, just hold the phone up to your ear. The phone automatically places a call to the person with whom you were just texting.
  • AllShare Cast: The link between phones and TVs is getting stronger with features like AllShare Cast. With just a few screen swipes, the phone easily lets you mirror what’s on your device (photos, videos and the web) to the bigger screen. It’s a great idea — and where the world is going — but like S Beam, it has a similar limitation of needing Samsung equipment to work — either a TV or a special dongle.
The Samsung Galaxy S III has many welcome features, following in some areas (like voice control) and leading in others (social tagging). We can’t wait to see the U.S. model, which Samsung says will be able to connect to LTE networks. While the timing of the launch hasn’t been announced, Samsung says it’ll be available this summer.
