Legend has it that there was a time when laser pointers were used mostly to mark blackboards and similar things. Today, pointers are used mainly to distract cats and other activities as point them to the cinema screen or annoy a goalkeeper during a football match. There are even some that can leave us blind in an instant and / or burn skin.
At least in the U.S., much of the laser pointers are illegal because it exceeded the power limits allowed. A study reveals that 90% of green laser pointers over the limit and 40% of the red pointers do too. Overall, only 25% of the pointers can be considered legal .
Why is so important the whole thing? Because these small devices can really leave us blind, not to mention the various legal matters that can be given as to target them to the aircraft, which was banned last year.
