The App Store Windows 8 continues to grow. Each day adds a new app to the selection available in the Windows 8 Store and indeed in the last month 14,000 applications have been added by site MetroStore Scanner. With this, the store has managed to exceed the total of 35,000 applications available for download and will continue to grow even more. Obviously yet still has a long way to go to reach those with the greatest stores, currently Apple and Google .
Initially when Windows 8 was released in late October, there were 10,000 applications, which became 13,000 in a week. It is estimated that today some 415 applications are added daily, ie so that when starting February should be the total of approximately 50,000.
Still, that's less than what Microsoft expected, since they say the store will have 100,000 applications for February. Will they meet this goal or fall by the wayside?
