The CMT cancels the premium rate number and DataTalk OVsms and add 12 cancellations since 2009

The Telecommunications Market Commission (CMT) has canceled the service numbering short text messages and multimedia messages Vitual Operator SMS (OVsms) and DataTalk twelve numbers and addition and Premium SMS canceled since 2009, when it adopted the code of conduct premium rate services.
In the latter case, the Commission for Supervision of Premium Rate Services (CSSTA) has accredited the breach of code of conduct for the services provided through the number 797007 and 795600, whose owners are OVsms and DataTalk, respectively.
For this reason, the telecoms regulator has decided to cancel the allocation of these numbers, which will become free in the public register of numbering, but can not be assigned to any company until after one year.
Under current rules, companies that provide services based on SMS Premium must comply with the code of conduct approved in 2009 that regulates, among other methods to unsubscribe, prices, content and advertising.
Thus, when the CSSTA considers that a company is in breach of the Code of Conduct, asked the CMT to cancel that number and the telecommunications regulatory body, as well as remove the numbering from the operator that fails, prevents any company can reuse that number during the period of one year.
