The cloud platforms for gamers are forming slowly, and of course an industry giant such as GameStop gamer does not want to stay out of the business. After a year of testing in a private beta, the company has decided to dismiss consoles and instead focus on PCs, tablets and Smart TVs as their hardware of choice.
If you want to play on your PS3 or Xbox 360 using the client directly GameStop, then you better go looking for other alternatives. According to Gamasutra features, support for the above consoles was shelved due to technical problems and other problems that could not be solved.
However, both the PS3 and the Xbox 360 and are about to be retired. Rumors say that the future Xbox (codenamed "Durango") and future PlayStation (called "Orbis") will both have their own cloud platform gamer. The recent purchase of the cloud platform Gakai by Sony is a major test of what the company plans to do with your console.

Wii's online service will be free U

Often (but not always) the fact that something has to be free is not good quality. We're not sure if Nintendo is aware of this, but the company will continue to offer the online service for U Wii without charging a cent. The launch of the console is expected for the month of August.
LIVE Gold and PlayStation Plus are paid subscription services available for the Xbox 360 and PS3, respectively. These paid services have the advantage of offering more features and a lot of applications premium, unlike the free versions of them.
The service for Nintendo Wii, called "Wi-Fi Connection", or comes close to those already mentioned and is not such a large community such as Xbox LIVE and PSN.
The fact is that maintaining services like LIVE and PS Plus Gold costs money, why are not free. Besides this, surely any gamer would rather pay some extra dollars and have available an effective online service and a community of active players with perfect attendance, which seems to be the case of the service offered by Nintendo.
Once the Wii is released U, we have to wait and see how things evolve.
