iPad incorporate a second display

 Apple

According to the drawings of a patent revealed recently, Apple would create a cover for the iPhone that would make the tablet with a second touch screen, plus it would be flexible. It seems that this product is in general much improved performance of the apple tablet.
The new roof, which is quite similar to today's Smart Case, is the same size as the iPad. What is unclear is what percentage of the deck would occupy the second screen, but more likely the deal mostly. This second display could have several functions, including being a control interface, a notification center, a space for drawing or just an additional area located more icons, not forgetting of course that could be used as a keyboard, like the Touch cover Cover that Microsoft plans to release its tablet Surface.
Will it become reality this design? Time will tell.

HTC smartphone could present a 5-inch Full HD in September

 Smartphones HD

Smartphones HD are those with a screen resolution of approximately 1280 × 720 pixels (also known as 720p). Such phones have been around for almost a year, and now HTC seeks to lead the new generation with the launch of a smartphone than 5 inches which would screen Full HD resolution, ie 1920 × 1080 pixels (1080p).
It appears that this phone would be announced in September or October. Apparently have a Snapdragon processor S4 (probably quad-core), take a GPU Adreno 320 and of course you will have Android operating system, and most likely and which carries the version Jelly Bean.
What will it cost? When will the market? What will? What technology incorporated? We do not have these answers, but if the sources are wrong then HTC will answer these questions in a couple of months, you only need to be attentive, although our attention may be diverted by the arrival of phones like the iPhone 5 of Apple and the Galaxy Note 2 from Samsung.

PopFab, the 3D printer that fits inside a suitcase

 http://i.imgur.com/7qqXg.jpg

Today there are all kinds of 3D printers. 3D printers are of different colors, there are some that are cheaper, some are more expensive, are also those that are larger and some that are slightly smaller. But they all have something in common, besides their function: they must be disassembled to be carried from one place to another. Recently, a couple of MIT students have put a stop to this by creating a PopFab, a 3D printer that fits inside a suitcase.
Ilan Moyer and Nadya Peek were the ones who developed the PopFab. To use, you only need to connect a folding arm, place the material to be printed and connect the printer to a computer to transfer the design. In the video below we can see when the PopFab is being tested.

What do you think of this 3D printer laptop ?

HTC profits drop significantly during the second quarter

 http://i.imgur.com/vLl1C.jpg

Looking at it from the financial side, the first quarter was a little hard on HTC because the gains were not anywhere near expected, and there were those who believed that the line of HTC smartphones One would help you soar. Not so. As many anticipated, the company's earnings fell markedly, by 60% between April and June.
After unveiling the report on the months of January, February and March, HTC said it expected to hoping for a little less profit for the second quarter, but ended up going the more pessimistic analysts felt about it. To make matters worse, both Apple and Samsung with their earnings remain at stable levels, allowing them to invest more in product development than it can afford to HTC.
It is expected that the July-August-September is also a bit lazy to HTC, which is likely to be worsened with the arrival of mobile as the Galaxy Note 2 or the iPhone 5.
Will HTC make the scales in your favor?

New type of radar can see through walls

 http://i.imgur.com/qVSO4.jpg

At University College London (part of the University of London), designed a radar capable of identifying changes in frequency, which gives you the ability to detect objects and people moving across a wall. Karl Woodbridge and Kevin Chetty have built a prototype of the radar which is the size of a suitcase. Under the Radar is a radio wave receiver with two antennas and a signal processing unit. Investigators say they were able to use the device to determine location, speed and direction of a person.
The most interesting thing is that the technology of radar also allows you to capture changes in frequency through a brick wall up to 30 centimeters wide and it can not be detected because it does not emit any type of wave, only receive. Is expected to be completed when the device can be used by the military and the police.
There is a small drawback with the radar and it is needed that the other side wall has a wave-emitting source, such as, for example, a WiFi router (as seen in the figure).
