It's told that
This approach is 'interesting' for personal computers. The form factor of this machine alone is enough to make it stand out in a crowd. And as a PC - it works, but it is only a middle-of-the-road box in terms of power, speed and functionality. If the form factor is something that you need for reasons of space or 'wow', then this might be a good choice.

I'm using it as a HTPC, and was intially attracted by the HDMI output, which simplifies connectivity to the home theater world. I'm using an HDMI splitter to allow video and audio to a small TV that is my 'monitor' and also to a Denon amplifier connected to a large projector screen and full surround sound setup. I use the monitor to tackle the tasks of Windows 7 admin and to plan my schedule. The Denon simply accepts the HDMI as another input. I also have the Acer connected to my NAS and a Hauppauge PVR. As a side benefit, I can use Media Player to listen to music through the Denon. A further extension of the system include WD TV Live Plus boxes in my living room and bedroom which can also 'see' my videos and music. It works very well, although you could ask for a better connection between the Hauppauge Media Center, but this is a different judgment. As regards the Acer:

As of 7/25, the DVD drive does not work. Moreover, the lack of processing power is felt. I'm going to take the hard drive, but I'm pretty sure this will not be my go-to box for HTPC. You can always use another 'Pooter around the house, so no worries ...

It's told that
The desktop computer arrived from Amazon just one day after ordering, keyboard and mouse are included in the package, I connected them together with my existing monitor and it was all systems go in less than 15 minutes. It starts up very quickly and is extremely quiet. There four USB ports and two audio jacks on the front most usefully complete memory card slots, sockets on the rear panel are as per specifications detailed by Amazon. The opening of the case is very easy with two screws semi-circle and catch, a very clean layout is revealed within easy access to memory and PCI card slots, I installed a wireless card in about 5 minutes, without screwdriver required - easy! There are slide carriers in the 4 expansion slots of the hard drive that makes installing multiple units very easy and fast, again without screwdriver needed, a nice feature.
All in all very well thought out and specified computer and a good value for money.

Stunning new screenshots of GTA V

It seems that people of Rockstar has been very kind of late, as just presented a few screenshots of your most anticipated title to date, GTA V. Now that these shots have been revealed, it seems difficult to decide if Crysis 3 will the best graphics ever seen or if that honor will be for the future of the GTA series title.
The only downside of the whole thing is that Rockstar has not yet announced the release date for Grand Theft Auto V, but one thing is certain: it will be released in 2012.

Lexibook launches low-end Android tablet for kids

 http://i.imgur.com/0r0qG.jpg

Lexiboox is all set to bring to market its new Android tablet. This is a low-end model that is geared toward younger and will be available from September 15, but apparently only be sold in the United States and England.
The device has a processor that runs at 600MHz only incorporates 256MB of RAM, has WiFi, 4GB of memory and a microSD reader up to 16GB.
Apparently the tablet Lexibook offer functions for parents to monitor what your child or children can do or not do with the device, which incidentally cost about $ 240, a price maybe a little exaggerated.

Apple wins lawsuit against Samsung and take home a lot of money

http://i.imgur.com/sdcCz.jpg

For many weeks ago, Apple and Samsung were in court during the war of patents, and each said that the other company had infringed some of its patents.  The outcome of the trial was decided a couple of days, and the company on the block turned out to be the big winner as the jury's decision, filling their pockets with more than $ 1 billion dollars in damages, while Samsung was unable to obtain not even a penny.
During the trial, there was talk of a large number of devices on the one side were Apple's iOS devices and on the other hand a lot of phones and tablets from Samsung.
Among the patents that Samsung infringed Apple are a pair of displacement, a zoom with two fingers and a one-touch zoom. In addition, the jury found that Apple did not infringe any of the patents Samsung.
What do you think about this? Does it seem right that Apple was the winner?
