Many iPad users are not happy with the iPad 4

http://i.imgur.com/vtR6v.jpg

As I commented, the iPad 4 was launched last Tuesday. It seems that a lot of users of previous models of tablet Apple are not happy with the fourth-generation iPad and that certainly was filed only seven months after the release of the iPad 3.
A study of Toluna QuickSurveys which interviewed more than 2,000 iPad users, revealed that approximately 45% of these were not happy with the new tablet from Apple mainly due to the rapid release that has had the device, leaving the iPad 3 practically obsolete.
Besides this, the fourth of the respondents believe that the reputation of Apple has dropped a bit after the company removed Google Maps from iOS 6 and replaced by his failed mapping application.
But not everything was bad for Apple, since about half of the respondents said they will buy or maybe buy the new iPad Mini.

The iPad Mini could have availability problems

http://i.imgur.com/UbOL1.jpg

As we told you yesterday, last Tuesday Apple announced the new iPad Mini with 7.9-inch screen. The initial price of the device was found to be $ 330, considerably more expensive than the Nexus 7 and the Kindle Fire HD both cost only $ 200.
Surely Apple expects the price of its new tablet, which is cheap compared to that of a large iPad, assuring an increase in number of sales and also a device believed to be in high demand by consumers. That may be so, but surely there will be setbacks along the way, and we almost have one on our doorstep.
Production of the iPad Mini has been divided between Foxconn and Pegatron. LG Display will provide screens to Foxconn who, while AUO is the supplier to Pegatron. Unfortunately, AUO is having production problems.
In September, could only send 100,000 AUO screens Pegatron, which obviously affects the amount of iPad Mini that can be manufactured. Is expected to be sent to 400,000 screens in October and twice in November. In addition, LG Display was sending 300,000 Foxconn screens in September, hopes to reach 1 million in October and 2.5 million in November.
If AUO fails to produce enough of the screens, it is likely that the iPad Mini has availability problems. In this case, we say that Apple might choose to work with Samsung, but because of the tensions between the companies this may not seem like a good idea.

RAY Project Qualcomm and have a great phone for the blind

Sometimes the technology is more than an improvement in the processor or the amount of memory. Sometimes technology focuses more on the user than the phone itself. Qualcomm and RAY Project, through the Wireless Reach initiative, presented a new mobile phone that can be used by people with little or no vision. It is a mobile which always stays on (unless the battery is exhausted), it is very easy to use, multi-function and content available as audiobooks.
Today, the majority of blind people use simple mobile 2G only for calls. Besides this, many other readers need devices like audio-books, readers of colors, navigation tools, scanners, large buttons and several other similar things that can sometimes be very expensive. Apparently, the RAY mobile terminal is based on a Qualcomm originally ran Android, and the device has been turned into a smartphone that can perform the functions of several of the aforementioned devices, besides that its price would not be high and the user interface would be designed specifically for use by blind or visually impaired.
For now the phone is being tested by 100 people in Israel. The truth is great that companies carry out this type of project, and is even better when it manages to be successful.
