New technology could improve the battery life of your smartphone

http://i.imgur.com/V06hf.jpg

Do you wish there was a technology that allows our smartphones remain charged twice as long? If so, read on entonce.
Eta Devices is a company founded by two professors from the prestigious MIT, and reputedly has the technology to make this possible. Joel Dawson and David Perreault, founders of the firm and the aforementioned MIT faculty, claim to have the solution to the energy problems with most modern phones, something that has not happened to before. In any case, it seems that the low battery life of many smartphones should amplifier. Is our phones and tablets are used amplifiers that convert electricity into radio signals, but it seems that these amplifiers absorb too much battery power, which makes them wear faster and sometimes the phone is noticeably warmer.
Eta Devices has designed and is testing a new type of amplifier you plan to implement next year. If initial tests are successful, it is likely that the battery life of smartphones will see duplicated.
Great, is not it?

Android continues to dominate the market

According to a recent report, which deals with the sale of smartphones during the last quarter of the year, the mobile operating system Google still reigns, since 75% of smartphones sold run Android. In other words, this operating system was present in 3 out of 4 phones sold.
We're talking about 136 million units that run a version of Android or another of a total of 181 million. Of course these numbers are due to large sales of high-end phones like the Samsung Galaxy S3 and HTC One X, among others. At the same time, this made BlackBerry phones and Symbian lost market share even higher, which was coming.
Apple also has to take credit for reducing the share of operating systems from RIM and Nokia, as its iPhone sales reached 27 million units, while last year in the same room had sold about 17 million.
The Windows Phone platform from Microsoft remains silent in the background, but it is noteworthy that the number of users has doubled compared to 2011.
What operating system uses your smartphone ? Android?, IOS, BlackBerry, Symbian or Windows Phone?

Kingston is an excellent manufacturer of hardware and other devices. One of their products are memory cards, which are among the best on the market. This time we have a new card type microSDXC Class 10 64GB capacity. It is specially designed to give us a high storage capacity and high speed when transferring files to or from our smartphone or tablet.
The card operates using the exFAT file system, which is designed to handle large amounts of data and especially with files larger than 4GB. In addition, this new microSDXC gives us a minimum transfer rate of 10MB/s.
Whenever devices come with better cameras that are able to take photos and make videos of very high quality, and as people often do more photography and videos than before, it is natural to require a greater amount of space to store our files multimedia. At that time is when cards like this Kingston 64GB microSDXC involved.

Internet Explorer has more and more users

http://i.imgur.com/3aEki.jpg

Another month has ended and Internet Explorer still leads as far as web browsers use concerns, with the largest market share. Internet Explorer closed October with a share of 54.13%, well above the 19 , 99% of Firefox and Chrome 18.55% of Google . The remainder goes to other browsers such as Safari and Opera.
Something very interesting is that the browser Microsoft , when compared with its market share a year ago, has won some users, since the percentage is higher by 1.5% compared to October 2011. This means bad news for Firefox, which is down 20% for the first time in years, while Chrome is maintained in an amount which is already more than used, although its share has declined slightly in recent months.
What is your favorite Internet browser: IExplorer, Firefox or Chrome? Or maybe you prefer Safari or Opera?

Google sold nearly 1 million units each month Nexus 7

http://i.imgur.com/LQRoq.jpg

It seems that people from Google is doing pretty well with sales of Nexus 7. As discussed Asus, the manufacturing company, sales of Nexus 7 every month approaching the mark of one million units, which is twice the units sold in the first month.
"At the beginning, for example, sold 500,000 units per month, then began to be 600,000, 700,000 and now we have almost crossed the mark of one million units sold per month" Asus told David Chang's famous stories in The Wall Street Journal.
Obviously the Nexus 7 still has a long way to catch up to iPad sales, which had 14 million units during the last three months, which is more than half of the tablets sold worldwide, reaching 25 million.
Many consider the Nexus 7 is the best 7-inch tablet market. For $ 200, now we can get a 16GB model (8GB before), while for $ 250 can buy the 32GB (originally 16GB).
Recall also that in a few days the new tablet will be released October 10 inch Nexus.

Pinch, the interface for connecting different screens simultaneously

http://i.imgur.com/mNDBa.jpg

Now that's what I call technology . Although we had seen something similar once, it was a conceptual device, which frankly do not even remember the name. But here we have something that is more real, the great interface Pinch.
Pinch is an interface that allows us to connect the different devices touch screens simultaneously, and are currently under development at the University of Technology in Tokyo. To see the video below will be more than enough to understand what we mean:

Basically, what you do is place your thumb on the screen and in the remaining index, drag them toward each other and both will be connected instantly. You can join them as you like, either vertically or horizontally, or a combination of both. It is noteworthy that the devices also need to be connected together using WiFi.
What do you think?
