Xbox might be developing Surface

http://i.imgur.com/YgDVs.jpg

Makes several days ago we talked about the possibility that Microsoft will start producing more hardware , and the CEO of the company said that was unlikely, but never specified what kind of products would be talking.
It seems that now we know a little more. It is possible that the two most successful devices are created by Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Surface tablet, so ... why not combine them? Exactly, it seems that the giant software is developing what will be known as the Xbox Surface, a 7-inch tablet.
This is a tablet that will use the technology of an ARM processor, but also talks about the possibility of using an Intel processor. Regarding the operating system, will be a modified version of Windows you have several common functions found in any tablet.
Apparently, the Xbox Surface is being developed in secret (not so secret actually, because if it were I would not be writing this) in some buildings that Microsoft has in the Silicon Valley and much of the staff of the company has no authorized access.
In response to what is said about the Xbox Surface, a spokesman said MS will not comment on rumors or speculation.
Do you think it's true?

Apple might start using ARM processors rather than Intel in Macs

http://i.imgur.com/MJr8V.jpg

It has been more than seven years since Apple adopted Intel processors for use on their Macs, but this relationship may come to an end. According to rumors emerged yesterday morning, Apple is seriously considering starting to use ARM processors in their computers and laptops .
Sources close to the company say that several of the engineers are confident that the maker of chips that use the iPad, iPod and iPhone will also begin to create lines processors for Mac
But this is not just a change from one provider to another. It also means a complete change at the architectural level. One of the great benefits of the Intel x86 architecture is that Mac users can install Windows on another partition using Boot Camp. It may still be possible by installing Windows RT (known as Windows 8 for ARM), but application compatibility OS would not be the same.
However, this change is not imminent, and it seems that is just beginning to be considered to take place within a couple of years.

Anonymous attacks various web sites

http://i.imgur.com/SEfeD.jpg

Yesterday I commented that Anonymous was said, planned to attack Facebook to celebrate Guy Fawkes Day, but apparently this was not the case at the end and instead were attacked several sites large and small. Note that Anonymous was not the only group of hackers in operations yesterday.
What were the sites affected?
-ImageShack
-PayPal
-The website of the NBC
-The website of Lady GaGa
-The website of Saturday Night Live
-Sites Jimmy Fallon and Jay Leno (related to the NBC)
Arcelor-Mittal's portal (mining company in Australia)
-GiftNow
-The Greek City site
-The website of the Consulate of Ghana
Note that there is no accurate list and it is estimated that the number of affected sites was even greater. We also have to mention that one of the groups of attackers filtered kernel software for VMware ESX Server.
For the first few hours of the day are expected to already ceased attacks.

Mini iPad and iPad 4 is selling like hotcakes

http://i.imgur.com/paqc3.jpg

Before the iPad Mini was put on sale last Friday, many criticized for its high price, have a lower resolution than the competition and bring only a few new features. Still, this did not affect sales of the device.
Through its CEO, Tim Cook, Apple wasted no time in announcing that during the weekend set a new record in sales and almost exhausted all available Mini iPad. Obviously already working to create more units and to meet the high demand from consumers, who between Friday and Sunday acquired about 3 million iPads between the iPad and the iPad Mini 4, which means that they were, on average, a million iPads per day.
It is more than likely that many consumers believe they have the obligation to take any of the new devices on the block since last Friday at 8 am and there were 800 people in line at the store that the company is in Manhattan. Not only the weather was unfavorable, but also due to damage caused by Hurricane Sandy much of the city was without power, with various problems that hampered transportation and some areas were still flooded.
Below is a video of the line of people waiting to buy the new iPad.

Increasingly less favored Apple

http://i.imgur.com/n3KPC.jpg

After the release of the iPhone 5, sales of the Samsung Galaxy S III rose enough, so it is likely that many were waiting to see which of the two devices was better and in the end opted for the South Korean company supersmartphone. But problems Apple does not end here, as it seems that Apple is losing its loyal fans slowly.
According to Strategy Analytics firm, last year, 93% of iPhone users in the United States agreed to purchase the new version of the iPhone, but now, after the launch of the new model, only 88% buy the iPhone 6 or whatever it will be called. This indicates a drop of 5 points against Apple. If we go to Europe, last year the percentage was 88%, but this year it has dropped to 75%.
According to Paul Brown of Strategy Analytics, these results are due to two things: first the press, which generally has not spoken highly of Apple for several months, and on the other hand the lack of innovation. All this leads to more and more fans to question themselves if they really buy the future version of the iPhone.
Furthermore it is noteworthy that the terminals with the Android operating system Google has won a 16% increase of its market share in Europe recently.

Microsoft will replace Windows Live Messenger with Skype

http://i.imgur.com/GQesf.jpg

As ESI, the guys from Microsoft are planning to change some things to your new Windows 8, and one of these things will remove Windows Live Messenger from the start line, putting in place the great Skype.
Is this the end of the famous chat client? No, because apparently Windows Live Messenger will be integrated into Skype in the coming months, and as noted it will be officially announced soon.
This is the latest attempt by Microsoft to link their accounts with Skype software it acquired last year for about $ 8.5 billion dollars. Windows Live Messenger, on the other hand, a client is much older than Skype and dates back to 1999 when it was called MSN Messenger. At its peak, it reached 330 million users, but today that number has dropped considerably.
