RIM promises more than 70,000 apps when it launches BlackBerry 10

http://i.imgur.com/ylTpT.jpg

The applications are a key for any mobile operating system. Android does, iOS does, Windows Phone has them too and are the 3 most used smartphone market. BB10? Take them? Sure. That RIM has promised recently that your new platform will have a lot of applications at our disposal when launched. Frank Boulben, the marketing manager of the company, says there will be over 70,000 apps for BlackBerry 10 when the OS is released.
While this is an impressive number for a new mobile platform will be launched, it is still a small amount compared to what it offers iTunes Store and Play. Even WP has 100,000 apps, but its growth rate is much slower and gives the impression that BB10 will soon surpass.
So far, what is your opinion on what we have seen of BB10? Do you think it will be a good mobile platform?

Details leaked NVIDIA Tegra 4

http://i.imgur.com/XHq4d.jpg

When the dual-core smartphones hit the market a couple of years ago, the Nvidia Tegra 2 processors were the best of the best and many practically had an altar, but today, they have become a little jaded and already almost not used. The Tegra 3 processor had a very good performance in the market last year and during the first half of 2012, but in recent months we have seen that this quad-core processor and can hardly compete with Qualcomm and Samsung , why Nvidia need to release something new: the Tegra 4, and it seems to have leaked details about this new mobile CPU.
Wayne, as was announced recently, is the codename for Tegra 4. Have you heard Wayne? Sure, the name (or rather last) behind Batman's character, in the same way that Tegra 3 is named Kal-El, the name of the man of steel, Superman. But leaving that aside, on to the actual details, which can be seen below:

 http://i.imgur.com/7Zd9c.jpg

It seems that Tegra 4 integrates a total of 72 GPU cores, ie 6 times the Tegra 3 and 20 times more than the Tegra 2, which is not bad. Perhaps many would have expected also a 6-core CPU, but that will not be possible for now as we continue with the line of quad-core 4-PLUS-1 incorporates already Tegra 3, but at least we expect an increased level frequency.
If this leak is true, Tegra 4 will be released next year and its technology will be able to give competition to the main CPU market.

Yesterday, the boys decided to publicize Samsung's new Galaxy line expansion, which much call the new family member. This new phone is the Samsung Galaxy Grand, a smartphone of 5 inches.
While we're all waiting for something like a Galaxy S IV, we will not see such a device by now, but instead (at least) have the Galaxy Grand, which definitely saved us a question: are you liking Samsung smartphones make much large screens.
Turning to the important thing, what includes this little one? Well, personally, I expected a new supersmartphone before seeing your specifications, but obviously not the case as it is a phone with a dual-core processor at 1.2GHz company receiving 1GB of RAM. Apart from this, the phone also has 8GB of memory that can expand using a microSD card which can also store the photos you take with the 8 megapixel camera of the device, or with its 2-megapixel front camera.
Besides all this, the Samsung Galaxy Grand also has WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and has an interface USB 2.0 .
The Grand will be sold with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and have the latest version of Samsung Hubs. Also worth mentioning that there will be a dual-SIM version.
The price and release date are not yet known.

What does NASA on December 21?

http://i.imgur.com/NoyUh.jpg

Several days ago, as you know, we were talking about a current issue: on December 21, 2012. For many it is a mere delusion, for others it is a reality. But obviously to say that the end of the world or a similar catastrophe will happen next Friday, we need evidence. Does scientific evidence that will happen X phenomenon that affect our planet? No, there is no such evidence, or at least that's what NASA says, the U.S. space agency known. Through its website, and for as many days, NASA has responded to the most common questions people often ask about this famous date looming and growing rumors about the end of time, the 3 days of darkness, etc..
What NASA responded to the million dollar question? Like we said, the answer was no, the world does not "end" this December 21. The Earth has been around for 4,000 million years and will continue to exist for a few more no doubt. The end of the world, if mankind does not destroy itself first, will result in about 5,000 million years when the sun becomes a red giant, rampaging with Mercury, Venus and probably the Earth in the process, and to save our world, anyway be an uninhabitable planet then.
If anyone is wondering about Nibiru, also called Planet X, for even their existence is proven, so the world does not come to an end due to the course of this fictional planet rapprochement which reportedly had to have come to Earth in 2003, but as nothing happened, someone took the trouble to relate it to the end of the Long Count calendar of the Maya, which we know ends after tomorrow.
Regarding the blackout and the 3 days of darkness, the scientists and engineers at NASA do not seem more than stories. Nor is there any kind of evidence that we have to live 72 hours in the dark. It also rules out a supposed universal planet alignment since no alignments laid up in a couple of decades.
What about the reversal of Earth's magnetic field? Many websites claim that the Earth's field is affected by the rotation of the same phenomenon that supposedly occurs irregularly. Scientists say that this does not happen for a few thousand years, and if happen, would not affect life on Earth.
Of course, no shortage of meteorites. Often, small rocks enter the Earth's atmosphere and disintegrate there, while some few make it to the surface. The last big impact was that Earth suffered more than 60 million years, and because of that today we can not have dinosaurs as pets. For 2012 there are no major anticipated impacts will have to see what happens next year or in a couple of centuries.
Many say that solar storms could affect the planet. Solar activity is regular and has its peak every 11 years or so. During these peaks, the solar wind can cause disruptions in communications satellites, but engineers are already using the technology to handle this. There is no risk that a solar flare will destroy the Earth as seen in the movie Knowing (Signs of the Future / Countdown). The peak of solar activity for this cycle will be approximately between 2013 and 2014, but it will not be unusual compared to previous peaks.
The situation is more than clear. There is no proof or scientific evidence to prove that any of the mentioned phenomena will exist. For the space agency, are nothing but baseless theories circulating on the Internet, on TV, in books, etc..
If you want to see the NASA site with questions and more details can follow the link that says "Source" at the bottom.
What do you think? Do you think that NASA tells the truth about December 21 or that he is cheating?

Facebook plans to monetize Instagram

Since Instagram Facebook acquired many months ago, many have wondered if the social network world No. 1 plans to get all the juice you can to the known application. The idea did not take advantage of Instagram would be something crazy, since it has a huge number of users.
And of course no one at Facebook is crazy, so if you plan to monetize Instagram, but still are not sure how. I mean, not that I know how to do, but have not yet chosen a strategy. Most likely, obviously, is that those using Instagram start seeing lots of ads and popups possible even with more propaganda, depending if we connect from the PC or from a mobile. Of course it is also likely that the idea of Facebook is totally different.
Currently, strategies abound, Facebook only has to find one.

Dell stops opt for Android and Windows 8

The Dell World conference this year took place several days ago in the city of Austin. During that period, Dell unveiled its plans for the market of smartphones, tablets and devices mobile in general.
Neither mobile nor Dell tablets are out of the ordinary, we must admit, and the company has not had many sales in the sector. Still, the company plans to make a platform change and move to Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8.
This was announced at this conference, where Dell said it will create tablets and phones with Android operating system and instead, as stated above, use operating systems Microsoft .
Jeff Clarke, Dell vice-president, says his company failed to find the right business model for Android. However, the hardware was fairly criticized Dell mobile level, so we have to see that this time the company develops. Will overtake Nokia, probably the biggest competitor WP level?
