A couple of days ago I commented that Apple was working on an iPhone with lowest price than standard models. It seems that now the device already exists, and it is, in fact, quite cheap to be the younger brother of the famous smartphone on the block.
Bloomberg The site says this low-end iPhone will be available for no more than $ 150, and also in some market price will be even lower, even to $ 100. The report also says that Apple site would work on this device since February 2011, almost two years.
One of the markets it is more designed this smartphone is Chinese, and
really no surprise that the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, has made a trip to
China for a few days ago.
All indications are that the new low-end iPhone will be launched during the second half of the year. Its specifications are unknown for now.
How far are we from achieving the advanced interfaces that can be seen in the movie Minority Report? Well, we are not very far indeed. The mist screens are not new, but Displair surprised us all two years ago when he unveiled a prototype fog screen with multitouch interface. But now the company has officially unveiled this technology and who have attended the 2013 CES will prove rotten.
This system, which is a little simpler than it appears, makes use of
three things: the fog screen, a projector and an infrared camera.
Demonstrations have been held in the CES showed Displair screen with a projection of Windows 7 on it. A PlayStation Eye camera connected to the PC via USB is used to project an infrared light on the projection.
And we are almost ready. Now we just have to load an application like Google Earth or if we feel like we can give a little more realism to Fruit Ninja slicing fruits like they're in the air.
As we said yesterday, the CES 2013 has been the event where there have been large flexible display presentations. Companies like Samsung , Microsoft and now Sharp presented their models. No one is sure when it will be released to the market, but at least we know that these small are out there.
Like the rest of the flexible OLED screen Sharp know very little, only said that measures 3.4 inches and Semiconductor Energy Laboratory also worked on its development.
We have no idea what your resolution, its pixel density per inch nor do
we know how much it costs, let alone when it will be released, but we
are confident that these data will be made public at the time.
Watching these flexible displays could undoubtedly amount to look to the future. Maybe in a few years be possible to carry our smartphone around the wrist as a watch.

that many can not agree: that the PlayStation 3, Sony has managed to
sell more units than the Xbox 360 worldwide.
As said, in December 2012, the PS3 had sold about 77 million units
worldwide compared to 76 million of the Xbox 360, even considering that

What do we know about it? Well almost nothing because the information was not disclosed. As we said this is a prototype and insurance are still many tests to be performed as making claims as soon walk.
Now tell us your opinion. What kinds of applications do you think could be used in a flexible display like this?
Do you think the use of flexible displays would open new doors for
developers and enable them to design applications that make maximum use
of it?
