Intel helps Stephen Hawking communicate better

 http://i.imgur.com/jxNJx9j.jpg

When Stephen Hawking has something to say about the mysteries of physics and the universe, we all listen carefully. Unfortunately, her long battle with Lou Gehrig's disease continues and gets worse, as their ability to communicate is deteriorating. For that reason, the guys at Intel have decided to help.

Currently, Hawking uses a complex system that uses sensors to tics and recreate words that are then translated by a speech synthesizer.

So far it has worked well, but due to increasingly weak condition the system is becoming inefficient. When Stephen asked the help of Intel, the company's CTO, Justin Rattner, decided to take over the issue.

Your idea is a system that is more sensitive to facial expressions and movements. The new platform will also use Hawkings perform movements with his mouth and his eyebrows, which would allow him to communicate about 10 times faster. Combine that with a system similar to Morse code, communication would become much more fluid.

Obviously, to be successful this system could also be used by other people with similar problems.

All forecasts indicate that Sony and Microsoft will turn to face again when their new consoles, hitherto known as PlayStation 4 and Xbox 720, come to light. New reports say that Sony could make big differences with his rival to implement a new control similar to that seen with the Wii U and PS Vita.

DualShock analog controller (pictured) has hardly changed since its launch in 1997, but new rumors suggest the company are working on a new type of control for the PS4.

As they say, there are already prototypes PS4 control with biometric sensors and touch screen LCD, and the same are in the laboratories of the research and development department of Sony. He says the idea is to create a Sony user interface similar to that used by the PS Vita.

The touch screen makes sense, but the biometric sensor add new way to play video games, and also add a few extra dollars to the cost of control.

Will have to see how out once the PS4 is released.

Years before becoming a businessman was charged and convicted of various crimes, including hacking, credit card fraud, embezzlement, among others.

In 1994, Kim Dotcom founded a computer security company called DataProtect. Six years later, in 2000, it was acquired by the firm TÜV Rheinland, but ended up breaking the following year.

A couple of years before selling his company in 1998, Kim was sentenced for two years because of offenses and handling stolen goods also hacking.

In 2001, when he was in total freedom, decided to invest money and made use of a special credit of Monkey AG. The same should be paid by Kimvestor, which led to both companies to ruin. The following year, Kim was deported to Germany from Thailand had made an abuse of information, why was convicted again and had to pay an expensive fine.

Three years later, in March 2005, Kim Dotcom founded the site that would lead to fame: Megaupload. As we know, Megaupload was a file hosting site that was to become the most visited site in the world downloads and even managed to get a small percentage of the world's Internet traffic at its best. The service had a way free and premium mode, but was closed in early 2012 and Kim Dotcom along with some of his employees were arrested, but was released a few weeks. To date, the cause is still in trial.

Despite this, it appears that Kim does not plan to stop and has released the new version of its web site, now known simply as Mega, which is destined to become the new empire of downloads.

MEGA, the new rule of downloads

As we know, Kim Dotcom has made Mega launching these days. Mega, stylized as MEGA, is the new file hosting service Megaupload successor. The new website was launched on January 19 worldwide, fulfilling exactly one year from the close of the previous Dotcom site. The domain of the new site is mega.co.nz, but initially it was going to be me.ga, but the Gabonese government, responsible for administering the. G, refused the registration of the domain, which Kim used a New Zealand alternative domain, which also lies outside the jurisdiction of the United States. The site is destined to become the great competitor of Dropbox, SkyDrive Drive of Google and Microsoft.

According to initial reports, more than 100,000 registered users in the first hour that the site was active, and it is estimated that the site has achieved the fastest initial growth of the Internet history.

To avoid being accused of hosting illegal files again, the team has chosen Dotcom encryption of files that users upload. You upload your file, it is encrypted and receive a code to decrypt it, but only the owner of the code is therefore responsible for the web may not know the type of content hosted. If somehow a file is found to be illegal and the relevant complaint is made, it is discharged.

What are the differences between Megaupload and MEGA? They are indeed a few, not to mention the issue of encryption:

-Users no longer have a waiting time to download a file, even those not registered.
-Free users have up to 50GB of storage space for files.
-Pay accounts have between 1TB and 8TB of monthly transfer for files up and down. Currently there are no options to remove the limits on the accounts.

Tell us: Have you tried MEGA? And if so, what do you think?
