Microsoft IllumiRoom not be ready before the launch of the new Xbox

Microsoft presented a conceptual shows IllumiRoom at CES 2013 which took place in January. What makes this system is to use a projector combined with the popular Kinect sensor to give users a gaming experience never seen before. IllumiRoom extends the game beyond the screen and scan around the room through the Kinect to create a map digital around us. Several images and things are projected around the room thanks to the projector. An example: if during the game you go through a level at which it is snowing, IllumiRoom be projected snow fall throughout the room.

Yesterday they said the technology could be ready IllumiRoom when the new Xbox is released (on end of year), but it seems this will not. Brett Jones and Hrvoje Benko, two researchers from Microsoft, have said that the product is not yet ready, but at least have made it work correctly in some tests. They said maybe it could be presented in July, but it is likely that the final release will not take place this year.
