Samsung could debut a 8-inch tablet with full HD

http://i.imgur.com/sKQEysd.jpg

For some time there are rumors that Samsung is creating its own tablet of 8 inches . Little or nothing is known about talking officially, but it is hoped this device will be known as the Galaxy Note 8.0.
A recent rumor suggests that the new tablet will feature an AMOLED display with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. If so, this will make him a little lower than the new Apple iPad Mini is said is on the way and take a great Retina display of 2048 × 1536 pixels.
The new Samsung tablet, should be presented in the coming months, should be viewed during the IFA 2013 that will take place in Berlin and will be held from 31 August to 5 September. When submitted, the Note 8.0 is the second tablet with AMOLED screen of the South Korean giant, as the first was the Galaxy Tab 7.7.
So far no details besides the obvious: run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean or perhaps, with luck, it will come with Android 5.0 directly Key Lime Pie.

BB10 1 million devices have been sold

http://i.imgur.com/y0fWHs2.jpg

Very good news for BlackBerry . On Thursday, the company has surprised everyone by announcing that during the last quarter of the year had net earnings of nearly $ 100 million. If we compare this quarter we are ending with the same last year, the outlook this time is much more favorable, since in those days then called RIM was not doing too well. In 2013 BlackBerry introduced not only a name change, but also a new attitude, a new platform and of course a new line of devices.
During the last three months, the total sales of the company in the mobile sector were 6 million units, and 1 million of these phones belong to BB10, which are mostly the Z10.
Despite having taken benefits, remember that the situation remains serious BlackBerry. The company went on to lose hundreds of millions of dollars in 2012, which will have to try to slowly recover in 2013 and in 2014 that if he wants to fully afloat.

A look at the tablet Dell Latitude 10

http://i.imgur.com/ZLs8GEG.jpg

On this occasion we will not focus much on the big brands of tablets like Apple and others, but in a slightly less known in this market: Dell.
Dell has shown itself capable of designing and manufacturing quality tablets, and one of them is the new  Dell Latitude 10. It is a rapid, has good battery life and has many accessories available. Also noteworthy is a tablet cheap when you consider the technology and hardware that offers:
-OS: Windows 8 32-bit Pro.
-Screen: measures 10 inches, has a resolution of 1366 × 768 pixels and uses a glass Gorilla Glass.
-GPU: Intel GMA.
-Processor: Intel Atom Z2760 processor dual-core 1.5GHz.
-RAM: 2GB DDR2.
-Storage: 64GB SSD.
-Connectivity: WiFi and Bluetooth.

-Ports: USB 2.0, microUSB, miniHDMI, headphone and microphone input.

The price of  Dell Latitude 10 is $ 500 dollars, and our view is not bad for what it offers.

New technology will make you invisible to radar drones

http://i.imgur.com/Q1KJtiO.jpg

Home Drones are a novelty, and obviously there are many people who believe that these robots could impact your privacy. To end this problem, a company proposes a solution by which our house will remain undetectable for drones. The company is known as Domestic Drone Countermeasures .
Domestic engineers say Drone Countermeasures have invented a technology secret that enables anyone to make sure your home is invisible to the drones. The technology does not affect the drone about to destroy it or has it fall to the ground, but it will do is mess up your ability to track us.
While this product will receive much interest from individual buyers, it seems that it will be selling manufacturing company focused on other companies that want to avoid corporate espionage.
Not yet revealed how the device is anti-drones or details of its technology, but all that will know when the time comes.

Did you know that most laser pointers are illegal?

http://i.imgur.com/YH3sYuY.jpg

Legend has it that there was a time when laser pointers were used mostly to mark blackboards and similar things. Today, pointers are used mainly to distract cats and other activities as point them to the cinema screen or annoy a goalkeeper during a football match. There are even some that can leave us blind in an instant and / or burn skin.
At least in the U.S., much of the laser pointers are illegal because it exceeded the power limits allowed. A study reveals that 90% of green laser pointers over the limit and 40% of the red pointers do too. Overall, only 25% of the pointers can be considered legal .
Why is so important the whole thing? Because these small devices can really leave us blind, not to mention the various legal matters that can be given as to target them to the aircraft, which was banned last year.
We must be careful when using one of these. Remember to use it only to guide a PowerPoint or similar tasks.

This optical fiber transfers data at nearly the speed of light

http://i.imgur.com/jHKy1N5.jpg

The optical fiber is very rapid, indeed, is faster than any other type of connection when data is transferred. At the University of Southampton , UK, has been created an optical fiber unusual. It is a hollow fiber having air inside and is capable of transferring data at nearly the speed of light . More precisely, fails to reach 99.7% of that speed.
To give us an idea, this transfer rate is about 10 terabytes per second. Exactly, 10TB / s, ie about 1000 times faster than the best optical fibers found in the market today.
You probably already have heard before about the hollow optical fiber cables. The idea has been around for a while but always detected data loss when wires must make a curve. People at the University of Southampton has managed to minimize the loss of data and has a transfer at lightning speeds.
We should not get excited yet. This connection will be available to us recently in several years.Initially is expected to be used in data centers and governmental and scientific supercomputers.

The Apple TV will use a 4K Ultra HD screen

http://i.imgur.com/00zorUU.jpg

The Apple TV (and I mean the digital receiver) has been the talk of many for a long time. Every time we talk about it we learn that virtually be entirely new as we thought it would be. The latest rumors on this TV show that will have a glorious 4K Ultra HD screen , meaning that its resolution will be  3840 × 2160 pixels , according to several suppliers of apple company. Appleand its most famous supplier, Foxconn , have been talking about this TV and workmanship for a long time.
The apple is not sure yet which of its suppliers will be the one to create the new screen and mass produce it, because currently many are making screens for the iPhone, iPad and iPad Mini.
A rumor suggests that LG Display could be in charge of creating the new screen, and in this case we say that the TV would be launched around the beginning of 2014 or very lucky at the end of this year.
Since 4K TVs are expensive in itself, one of those bearing the logo of Apple undoubtedly would be priced very high and higher than normal.

Intel prepares a streaming service

http://i.imgur.com/XGC2cnv.jpg

Intel is negotiating with several companies such as Time Warner, NBC Universal and Viacom. What they are negotiating? For Big Blue is talking to those companies to dispose of their TV shows and films for new streaming service being prepared. As might be expected, will be a paid service like that nowadays Netflix and other companies.
Intel has also begun negotiating with News Corp, Walt Disney and CBS to also be able to offer some of its content. David Bank, RBC Capital analyst says the chipmaker will have to pay extra money to have enough content for having come so late to the party.
Instead of offering packages with content from various channels, it is said that Intel plans to offer content from a single channel, ie if we see the setting of NBC and MTV, to give examples, we'll have to hire two packages: one for each channel.
Additional Details are sketchy for now, but if we find out anything more will see it here.
