Following a fall time, access back to normal Twitter

After nearly an hour off the air in a crash that totaled access across multiple platforms, access to Twitter was back to normal on Thursday afternoon. The microblogging service had left the air and prevented the access of users, in addition to the web version, on mobile devices and third party applications like TweetDeck, for example.

In its status page, the company confirmed the problem. "Users may be having trouble accessing Twitter. Our engineers are working to resolve the failure," the company said. Twitter did not say what caused the fall of the service.
