If this robot can recognize its reflection, does self-awareness?

So far, most of the evidence level robotics were to test whether robots could move properly, if they could meet certain simple functions, etc. But this is over, and that we may soon witness a new generation of robots with self-awareness, which for the most paranoid Terminator equals.
Leaving aside the fiction, this robot named Nico has been created in a robotics lab at Yale, and it is tested with mirrors, which have also been conducted in animals, and so far only apes, dolphins and elephants know they are being themselves.
The idea behind the robot Nico is, obviously, that can recognize itself in the mirror to see, which would certainly be a breakthrough at the level of the technology of artificial intelligence as it implies that the robot is aware of himself and knows what he sees in the mirror is him.
Nico try to recognize themselves in mirrors on year-end, after which we will have the results of the tests.
