Achim is the clone of the North Korean iPad

The iPhone is not sold in North Korea, but that does not mean that the North Koreans do not have access to tablets - they have their own clone of the Apple device.

According to the website NK News , the North Korean media reported that a tablet called Achim ("Morning"), developed by a state enterprise is becoming very popular within the country, especially among students.

The device has a 7 inch screen, weighs 300 grams and the battery lasts up to 5 hours. Was not informed what is the system used in Achim, but it is possible that the Red Star, a variant of Linux that is also used in other devices in the country.
