They have been a very interesting couple of weeks for Microsoft.
The Redmond-based company announced that its new operating system had
reached its RTM stage, and in record time their code was leaked to
torrent websites. Then there was speculation about the decision to abandon the brand Metro useful for interfacing that has Windows 8, probably to avoid a potential lawsuit.
Now, The Verge presents what could be the final design for the boxes of the operating system will be available at retail later this year.
As previously announced, there will be only two versions of the
operating system: Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro The overall design of the
boxes is quite simple with the logo "Windows 8 UI style" in the front
and two different colors ( black or white) to differentiate the versions
available.
The latest Microsoft operating system reached its RTM last week, marking the final stage of their development before its world premiere. Only a day after leaked to the internet version "N" for the European market - which comes without the Windows Media Player.
Windows 8 is scheduled
for release in stores, and tablet personal computers, including Tablet
Surface, 26 October and the next version of Windows Phone should be
ready around the same time.
