A team of scientists at MIT have developed a device which they call spectacular eyering. As you can see in the picture, it's a ring that has a built-in camera. Eyering function is to inform the user about what the camera has captured.
When the person you can not see what he has before, then you can use the eyering, which will be communicated through the phone so the camera has captured. The device consists of a VGA camera, a processor, a Bluetooth module and a mini USB for charging puero.
In addition to the aforementioned function, eyering is also able to create three-dimensional maps of the area around the user, which can be very useful for the blind at the time of moving, and they will be able to know what's around them through what you hear on your smartphone Android.
The development team is also working on a version compatible with iPhone.
