Tough times mean tough decisions, and that's what happens to RIM today. With hopes of starting next year with a good start, the company has decided to lay off 3000 employees next week. The first rumors about the dismissals began in June and ended up coming true, but the story does not end here.
In order to save enough money, you need to at least 5000 people lost their jobs at RIM, and that means that others will be dismissed in 2000 over the coming weeks. It seems that RIM workers are terrified because they do not yet know who will and who will stay, and also it appears that, excluding those working in the development of BlackBerry 10, any class of person may be expelled.
