As you may know, Valve is creating a version of Steam for OS and Linux distros. Instead of opening the beta to all, the company has chosen to search for a group of users that the test (around 1000 people allegedly). Valve wants experienced Linux users get tested, so if you are a beginner, you'd better wait. But if you're a Linux guru and a great fan of Steam, we recommend you follow this link .
First we will have to answer some questions, like "What Linux distro you use to try Steam?" And the like, but also asks for the type of computer you will use and other things. Clearly what Valve is looking for here is diverse systems.
Steam for Linux will be, initially, a software 32bit and the preferred distro is Ubuntu Valve to run it.
Anyone planning to join?
