Sony has a new release called my Xperia remote service. What is my Xperia? Basically, it is a tracking and tracing system for mobile phones Xperia also helps in protecting the same, which would be carried out by using an application. The new service, which is currently in beta, is now available in countries such as Finland and Denmark, while plans to take the rest of the world would be full for the second quarter.

As mentioned, the service also serves to protect our Xperia thanks to an app. Users need to use your Google credentials to access myxperia.sonymobile.com so you can activate the service for your terminal. It is also from that place from where you can track the device in case of losing it, I can put in silent mode to avoid the attention and even we can block it to keep our data safe. If you have important files you do not want to be compromised, we may even delete them, and no matter if they are in the phone memory or on a memory card separately.

The service is available for Xperia 2012 models that have at least Android 4.0 ICS.
