In January, during CES 2013, AMD announced a new line of GPUs and also introduced its newplatform Temash at MWC 2013. You'd think this is enough for one year, but AMD is not. Now the company returns to the fray in one of his favorite areas: processors. The new line of APUsby AMD , which carries the code name " Richland "not only incorporates some improvements, but still retains a low price and offers an alternative to the Intel processor. In fact, AMD says its A10-5750M quad-core has a yield higher than 50% of an Intel Core i7 .
A good level of performance is not all that AMD has for us. The new APUs will come loaded with special software and Gesture Control, Face Login and Screen Mirror. The first uses the webcam to identify some gestures of our hands and use it in conjunction with the web browser. The second is similar to the facial recognition authentication. The third and last is used to share multimedia content wirelessly.
The new AMD APUs seem to be very promising no doubt, but still some months to reach the market.
