Are you planning the Apocalypse? The mobile device market is slowly "eating" the computers and laptops (especially the first). Some analysts wonder if the generations that are born today and in the years to achieve to put their hands on a computer with tower, which have been around for about 30 years.
A Gartner report predicts that the traditional PC market will contract by 7.6% next year, citing consumers buying smartphones, tablets and other ultra-portable devices as the cause.
Annually, we sell about 2000 million units of devices in the world (we're talking about PCs, phones and tablets). It is expected that this year the figure should reach 2.4 billion, marking an increase of 9% compared to 2012. Of course the device sales continue to increase, but going into details, lower computer sales in favor of smartphones, which will rise next to the tablets.
While many have a smartphone / tablet and use a computer to work (or play), it is expected that mobile gadgets are all that users need in a few years. The "portability" may well surpass the technology if this is so.
Do you think that mobile phones and other PCs raze achieve? Does the iPhone (to name one example) will become the traditional PC replacement?
