YouTube is the site that everyone prefers to watch videos and listen to music. This website, which is obviously one of the most visited in the world, turned 8 yesterday , so let's review a little history.
YouTube's origins date back to February 2005 when three employees of the company PayPal, Chad Hurley, Steve Chen and Jawed Karim, launched the portal. The first video, called "Me at the zoo" (you can see below), was risen by April 23, 2005 and the site went online shortly. Less than two years later, in October 2006, YouTube was acquired by Google for an amount of $ 1,650 million, and is one of its many subsidiaries.
Today, YouTube has contracts with many large firms and other legal problems, especially with companies in the world of music and television.
